Apprentice:
10th + ITI Passed (Result awaited candidates should not apply) (Passed out ITI candidates during 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022 & 2023,2024 shall apply only.

Preference: Preference for selection of Apprentice Trainees will be given as under:
- First preference will be given to candidates belonging to Champawat District.
- Second preferences will be given to candidates belonging to Uttarakhand State.
Duration of Training: The duration of the training will be one year and contract would be terminated automatically after completion of the apprenticeship training period. Shortlisted candidates have to furnish undertaking that after completion of training they will not demand employment.
Age Limit (As on 10 May 2024): 18 to 25 years
Age Relaxation: Relaxation in upper age is admissible as per the Govt. of India guidelines for SC/ST/OBC/PH
Stipend Details: The stipend will be paid as per the Apprenticeship Act of 1961.

Selection Process for NHPC Careers:
- Selection of Apprentice Trainees shall be based on Marks secured in ITI.
- If two or more candidates secure equal marks while preparing a merit list, then the candidate of higher age will be considered.
- List of selected apprentice trainees shall be published in career section of www.nhpcindia.com website.
- The contract will however, be generated in respect of the selected candidates on the website www.apprenticeshipindia.org against the applications of the candidates.
- The information about issue of contract shall automatically be sent to their registered Email-ID.
- Candidates must ACCEPT the offer in their e-mail and SIGN the contract on the website www.apprenticeshipindia.org.

Detailed Eligibility of NPHC Jobs:
Educational Qualification:
Industrial Trainee (Article Trainee):
- The Articled trainee must have passed the Intermediate examination conducted by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India
- Duration: The industrial training shall last for a minimum period of 12 months and a maximum of 15 months during the last year of the prescribed period of practical training.
Stipend Details:
- While on training, the selected candidates shall be paid a consolidated stipend of Rs. 20,000/-.
