NEIGRIHMS Vacancy Notification:
Online applications are invited for the following posts for recruitment on a purely temporary and contractual basis under an ICMR-funded project titled “Implementation research to improve IUD acceptance among women of reproductive age group in two districts of Meghalaya.” The age limit will be 30 – 35 Years. The emoluments for the Project Technical Support III & II Posts are Rs. 28,000 and Rs. 20,000 + 18% HRA respectively. About NEIGRIHMS: NEIGRIHMS was established by the Government of India in 1987. It has been designed as a Postgraduate Medical Institute in AIIMS, New Delhi and PGIMER, Chandigarh lineage. It is the first postgraduate medical institute in the Northeastern Region and the third in the country. It was established by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India. The Institute was registered as a Society on 12th January 1987 by the Registrar of Societies, Meghalaya, Shillong under “North Eastern Indira Gandhi Regional Institute of Health & Medical Sciences”.

NEIGRIHMS Shillong – Detailed Eligibility:
Educational Qualification:
Project Technical Support III:
- Graduate in life science/ relevant field +3 years experience in research OR
- Postgraduate degree in a relevant subject from a recognized university.
- Desirable: Basic knowledge of computers and previous research experience in field study.
- Fluency in Khasi, English, etc.
Project Technical Support II:
- 12th in science + two years of experience in relevant field.
- Desirable: Basic knowledge of computers and previous research experience of field study.
- Fluency in Khasi, English, etc.
Duration:
- The project is for two years. All the posts are purely temporary on a contractual basis.
- The appointment will be initially for six months, which may be renewed depending on the candidate’s performance and the project’s extension from the funding agency.
Role & Responsibility:
Project Technical Support III: Provide intensive support in all project-related activities, including coordinating field visits for data collection, leading in data management and data analysis, report writing and manuscript preparation (for publication), liaison with different stakeholders, maintaining finance, equipment and logistics for project work as well as any other task assigned by the PI as per the need.
Project Technical support II: Involve in all project-related activities including field visits for data collection, data entry and management, and any other task assigned by the PI as per the need.

Salary for NEIGRIHMS Shillong Recruitment:
- Project Technical Support III: Rs.28000/-per month + 18% HRA Rs.5040 =Rs.33040/-per month
- Project Technical Support II: Rs.20000/-per month + 18%HRA Rs.3600 =Rs.23600/-per month
Selection Process:
- Selection will be based on the performance and qualifications of the candidate in the test/interview.
- The decision of the Selection Panel will be final.
