KDRB Recruitment 2023 – Kerala Devaswom Recruitment Board has released the job notification for the post of Clerk/Peon/Others of 445 vacancies in the Travancore Devaswom Board. Candidates with the qualification of Any degree/MBBS/MD/PG Degree/Diploma/12th/SSLC/7th can apply for these jobs. Eligible candidates can apply for this post online on or before 09 November 2023. Educational Qualification:

Part-Time Santhi:

SSLC or its equivalent (2) Eligibility certificate from Thanthra Vidya Peedham or any Thanthra Vidyalayam approved by Travancore Devaswom Board / Kerala Devaswom Recruitment Board. (3) Not less than one year experience in the relevant field (Santhi).
Notes:
- Experience should be from temples where pooja is conducted thrice in a day.
- Only male candidates are eligible to apply for this Post

Part-Time Tali: SSLC or its equivalent

Part-Time Kazhakam Cum Watcher:

SSLC or its equivalent
Notes:
- Only male candidates are eligible to apply for this Post
- Differently, abled candidates are not eligible to apply for this post

Nadaswaram Cum Watcher:

SSLC or its equivalent
Certificate in the relevant subject (Nadaswaram) from Kshetra Kalapeedham or any other institution approved by the Board.
Note: Only male candidates are eligible to apply for this Post

Thank Cum Watcher:

SSLC or its equivalent (2) Certificate in the relevant subject (Thakil) from Kshetra Kalapeedam or any other institution approved by the Board.

Part-Time Purohitan:

SSLC or its equivalent
Proficiency in conducting ‘Pithrukarma’

Tutor (Takil):

SSLC or its equivalent
First Class Certificate in relevant Subject ( Takil ) from Kshetra Kalapeedam.

Tutor ( Nadaswaram ):

SSLC or its equivalent
First Class Certificate in relevant Subject ( Nadaswaram ) from Kshetra Kalapeedam

Tutor (Panchavadyam):

SSLC or its equivalent
First Class Certificate in relevant Subject ( Panchavadyam ) from Kshetra Kalapeedam

Overseer Grade III (Civil): Diploma in Civil Engineering or its equivalent OR ITI (Civil) certficate or its equivalent

Public Relations Officer:

Degree from any recognized University
PG Diploma in Public Relations or Journalism or its equivalent

Physician:

M.B.B.S
M.D in General Medicine or its equivalent, Current permanent registration with Travancore Cochin Medical Council.

Temple Cook:

Ability to read and write Malayalam,
Must have good physical fitness,
Not less than three years experience in the relevant field (Temple Cook).
Notes:
- Only male candidates belonging to Brahmin community are eligible to apply for this Post

Clerk( Direct Recruitment ):

Plus Two or its equivalent,

Clerk (By Transfer):

Must have completed ten (10) years regular service in temples under Malabar Devaswom Board.
Note: A service certificate in the prescribed format should be submitted to prove service details as and when directed by KDRB

Peon:

Pass in 7 th Standard,
Ability to ride bicycle,

Kazhakam:

Pass in 7 th Standard,
Experience in the relevant field (Kazhakam) from any Temple under Travancore/Cochin/Guruvayur Devaswom or Temples under Hindu Religious Charitable Endowment (Administration) Department
Notes:
- The employee who joins in the post of Kazhakam has to do the work attached to the said post during ten malayalam months and in the other two malayalam months, ie (Makaram and Edavam) he has to do the work allotted by the Devaswom Administrator.
- Certificate from temple authority to prove experience prescribed in
  qualification No. 2 should be submitted as and when directed by KDRB

Security Guard:

SSLC
Ability to ride a bicycle,

- Only Ex-Servicemen are eligible to apply for this Post
- Women and Differently Abled Candidates are not eligible to apply for this post.

Keezhsanthi:

Namboothiris from kurumbranad desom who have done ” Samavarthaparyantha Kriyas” as per “ Swagriha Sooktha” in Koodalmanikyam temple and those who are proficient in following and doing routine rituals are only eligible to apply for this post
Notes:
In the absence of Namboothiris from Kurumbranad desom , Namboothiris from Peruvanam, Shukapuram gramams in Irinjalakkuda and its upagramams who are proficient in performing / doing “ Samavarthaparyantha Kriyas” and other routine rituals will be considered. Documents required to prove the same should be submitted as and when directed by the KDRB
Applicants should have good physique and knowledge in preparing “nivedyam”.

Clerk/ Clerk Cum Cashier: Degree from a recognised university with not less than 50% marks for science subjects and not less than 45% marks for arts & in other subjects.

Confidential Assistant:

Plus Two or its equivalent
Type writing English Lower (KGTE) and Computer word processing or its equivalent.
Type writing Malayalam Lower (KGTE) or its equivalent.
Short Hand English Lower (KGTE) or its equivalent.
Short Hand Malayalam Lower (KGTE) or its equivalent.
