Status of the job: Temporary for six months and is subject to the availability of funds.

Project Title: Ohmic Heating Novel, Aseptic and Continuous Processing of Viscous Food Material for Shelf-life Enhancement
Junior Research Fellow: B. Tech/M. Sc/M. Tech in Food Technology or allied subject selected through a process described through any one of the following:
- Scholars who are selected through National Eligibility tests-CSIR-UGC NET, including lectureship (assistant Professorship) and GATE
- The selection process through a National level examination conducted by Central Government Departments and their Agencies and Institutions such as DST, DBT, DAE, DOS, DRDO, MHRD, ICAR, ICMR, IIT, IISc, IISER, etc.
Job Description:
- The fellow has to assist the PI in the execution of the above project which includes the designing of continuous ohmic heating setup for high viscous material, related experimentation in the research laboratory of the PI, and data analysis.
- The fellow will also be responsible for day-to-day project documentation and management and preparing reports and manuscripts for publication.
Project Tenure: 03 Years or completion of the project, whichever is earlier. The tenure of the fellow appointed in this scheme is co-terminus with the scheme. The offer will initially be for one year but can be extended further based on performance.
Post Tenure: The above post(s) is purely temporary and co-terminus within the tenure, and the candidates shall not claim regular appointments at the university.
Salary details of IUST Careers: Rs. 37,000/- + HRA
