ITBP Jobs โ Detailed Eligibility:
Educational Qualification:ย ย
Head Constable (Education & Stress Counsellor):
- Degree from a recognized University or equivalent with Psychology as a subject or
- Degree from a recognized University with Bachelor of Education or Bachelor of Teaching or equivalent.
Head Constable(Motor Mechanic):
- 10+2 pass from a recognized Board or Institution
- Certificate in Motor Mechanic from a recognized institution or Industrial Training Institute with three years of practical experience in the trade in a reputed work-shop or three-year Diploma in Automobile Engineering.
Age Limit (As on 27 October 2026): 18 โ 25 Years
Age Relaxation:
- SC/ST: 5 years
- OBC (Non Creamy Layer): 3 years
- Ex-Servicemen (Unreserved/General): 3 years after deduction of the military service rendered from the actual age.
- Ex-Servicemen (OBC/NCL): 6 years (3 years + 3 years) after deduction of the military service rendered from the actual age.
- Ex-Servicemen (SC/ST): 8 years (3 years + 5 years) after deduction of the military service rendered from the actual age.
- Government Servants: Up to 05 Years in accordance with the instructions or orders issued by the Central Government.
- Children and dependent of victims killed in the 1984 riots OR communal riots of 2002 in Gujarat: UR/EWS- 5 years, OBC (NCL)- (3+5) 8 years, SC & ST- (5+5) 10 years
Salary Details:
- Head Constable: Rs. 25,500 โ 81,100/-

Selection Process of ITBP Careers:
The selection process will be based on
- Phase I โ Physical Efficiency Test (PET), Physical Standard Test (PST)
- Phase II โ Verification of Original Documents, Written Test
- Phase III โ Practical Skill Test & Merit List
- Phase IV โ Detailed Medical Examination (DME)/ Review Medical Examination (RME).
