ITBP Jobs – Detailed Eligibility:
Education Qualification:
Assistant Commandant (Telecommunication):
- Bachelor’s Degree in Telecommunication Engineering or Electronics and Communication or Electronics and Instrumentation or Engineering from a recognized University or Institution.
Age Limit (As on 19 February 2025): Not Exceeding 30 years. Candidates should not have been born earlier than 20 February 1995 (20/02/1995) and later than 19 February 2007 (19/02/2007).
Age Relaxation:
- SC/ST: 5 years
- OBC (Non Creamy Layer): 3 years
- Ex-Servicemen (Unreserved/General): 3 years after deduction of the military service rendered from the actual age.
- Ex-Servicemen (OBC/NCL): 6 years (3 years + 3 years) after deduction of the military service rendered from the actual age.
- Ex-Servicemen (SC/ST): 8 years (3 years + 5 years) after deduction of the military service rendered from the actual age.
- Government Servants: Up to 05 Years in accordance with the instructions or orders issued by the Central Government.
- Children and dependent of victims killed in the 1984 riots OR communal riots of 2002 in Gujarat: UR/EWS- 5 years, OBC (NCL)- (3+5) 8 years, SC & ST- (5+5) 10 years

- Level-10 (Rs. 56,100-1,77,500) in the Pay Matrix

Selection Process of ITBP Careers:
The selection process will be based on
- Phase I – Physical Efficiency Test (PET), Physical Standard Test (PST)
- Phase II – Biometric Identification, Written Test
- Phase III – Checking of documents, Interview
- Phase IV – Merit List, Detailed Medical Examination
Note:

- Admit Cards to the candidates will be issued online mentioning the date and venue of recruitment test.
- Candidates are required to bring a clear & legible print out of their online application form & admit card; else they will not be permitted to enter the venue of Physical Efficiency Test (PET) & Physical Standard Test (PST).
