Selection Process for Indian Institute of Petroleum Careers:
- The candidates, as recommended by the Screening Committee, will be invited for a Trade/Skill test in the relevant area.
- Those who qualify in the Trade/Skill test will be invited for a competitive OMR/Computer-based objective-type multiple-choiceย examination, which will consist of three papers, viz. Paper I, II & III.
- Paper I will be qualifying in nature.
- The final merit list will be prepared on the basis of the marks obtained by the candidates in Paper II & III.
- Paper II & III will be evaluated only for those candidates who secure the minimum threshold marks (to be determined by the Selection Committee) in Paper I.
