Detailed Eligibility for Indian Army Agniveer Recruitment:
Educational Qualification:
Agniveer (General Duty):
- Class 10th /Matric pass with 45% (Forty Five) marks in aggregate of five basic subjects and min 33% (Thirty Three) Marks in each of those five subjects. For boards following the grading system, grades commensurate to percentages, as above, will be considered.
- Indian Gorkhas – Class 10th simple pass.
- Note: Applicants with valid Light Motor Vehicle (LMV) Driving License / Heavy Motor Vehicle (HMV) Driving License will be given preference for Driver requirements.
Agniveer (Technical):
- 10+2/Intermediate/HSC Exam passed in Science with Physics, Maths and English with minimum 50% (Fifty Percentage) marks in aggregate. OR
- 10+2 / Intermediate Exam Pass in Science with Physics, Maths & English from any accredited State Education Board or Central Education Board to include NIOS and ITI courses of one year in any field with NSQF level 4 (Four) or above. OR
- Passed 02 years vocational course with non-vocational subjects viz Physics and Mathematics from Education Board accredited by Central/State/UT Government with 50% (Fifty Percentage) marks in aggregate. Agniveer (Clerk/Store Keeper Technical):
- 10+2/ Intermediate Exam Pass in any stream (Arts, Commerce, Science) with 60% marks in aggregate and minimum 50% (Fifty Percentage) in each subject. Securing 50% (Fifty Percentage) in English and Maths/ Accounts/ Book Keeping in Class XII is mandatory.
Agniveer Tradesmen (All Arms):
- Simple 10th pass (No stipulation in aggregate percentage but should have scored 33% (Thirty Three Percentage) in five basic subjects).
- Simple 8th pass (No stipulation in aggregate percentage but should have scored 33% (Thirty Three Percentage) in five basic subjects).
Age Limit:
- 17 ½ – 22 years
- Applicants born between 01 Jul 2005 to 01 Jul 2009 (both days inclusive)
Salary Details: AGNIVEER will be given onetime ‘Seva Nidhi’ package comprising their monthly contribution with matching contribution by the Government on completion of their engagement period, as indicated below:
- 1st Year – Rs. 30,000/-
- 2nd Year – Rs. 33,000/-
- 3rd Year – Rs. 36,500/-
- 4th Year – Rs. 40,000/-
Selection Process for Indian Army Agniveer Recruitment:
- The recruitment process will be conducted in two phases
- Phase – I will be the Online Common Entrance Exam at the Computer-Based Test Centres allotted to the candidate and
- Phase – II will be the Recruitment Rally by Army Recruiting Offices at the Rally Venue.
Phase – I: Online Common Entrance Examination (CEE)
- Candidates to report at the Examination Centre with a colour printout of the Admit Card.
- Entry gates at exam center will be opened one and a half hour prior to scheduled time of exams and will close 30 mins prior to time of exam
- Common Entrance Examination (CEE) will be conducted in 13 languages (ie English, Hindi, Malyalam, Kannada, Tamil, Telugu, Punjabi, Odiya, Bengali, Urdu, Gujarati, Marathi and Assamese).
- Online test will be objective Multiple Choice Question (MCQ). As per category of application the candidates would be required to answer 50 questions in one hour or 100 questions in two hours.
- Typing Test for Agniveer Clerk /Store Keeper Technical. Typing test for candidates appearing for Agniveer Clerk /Store Keeper Technical will be carried out during the online Common Entrance Exam wherein 30 words per min (wpm) in English during the test is desirable. Only those candidates who qualify the typing test will be eligible for call up for Phase-II of recruitment process.
Phase – II:
- Proportionate to the vacancies available candidates would be shortlisted by applying a cut off in written exam result
- Shortlisted candidates have to report on the stipulated date and time for phase-II at the designated Recruitment Rally venue with following document /certificate inoriginal alongwith two attested photocopies with them.
Recruitment Rally: The candidates will be selected as follows:
- Physical Fitness Test (At Rally Site).
- Physical Measurement (At Rally Site)
- Medical Examination
Physical Fitness Test (At Rally Site):
1.6 Km Run
- Group – I – Up till 5 Min 30 Secs
- Group– II 5 Min 31 Sec to 5 Min 45 Secs
- Group-III 5 Mins 46 Secs to 6 Mins
- Group-IV 6 Mins 01 Sec to 6 Mins 15 Secs
Beam (Pull Ups)
- Group – I – 10 of 40 marks
- Group– II – 9 of 33 Marks,
- Group-III 8 of 27 Marks,
- Group-IV 7 of 21 Marks, 6 of 16 Marks
Physical Measurement (At Rally Site):
- Physical measurement will be carried out as per the laid down Region based and Category wise Physical standards.
Medical Examination:
- Medical examination of candidates who qualify in Physical Fitness Test, Physical Measurement Test (Height, Weight and Chest Only) will be conducted by Army Medical Team at the Rally site as per Army Medical standards and policy in vogue on the subject issue.
- Under Weight and Overweight candidates during Physical Measurement Test (PMT) will continue to go through further Recruitment Processes and will be screened again for Weight by Army Medical Team.
- Candidates found Medically Unfit for Weight Criteria will be given 21 Days to report for Review Medicals at nearest Military Hospital/ Command Hospital/ Base Hospital.ng medically fit by the concerned specialist/specialists at MH
Examination Fee:
- Examination fee of Rs 250/- per Category of application is to be paid by the candidate for the online examination.
