Detailed Eligibility:
Educational Qualification:
Project Associate-II:
- Essential Qualification:
- Master’s Degree in Natural or Agriculture Sciences/ MVSc or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Technology or Medicine from a recognized University or equivalent; and
- Two Years experience in Research and Development in Academic Institutions or Science and Technology Organisations and Scientific activities and services.
- Desirable:
- Experience in Cell Culture, Recombinant protein expression & characterization, Molecular biology, Gene expression analysis.
- Any other work assigned by the Project Leader
- Project: PAN CSIR Cancer Research Program making Cancer care affordable empowering women’s health: Focusing on Breast and Gynecological Cancers of Indian Relevance.
Senior Project Associate:
- Essential Qualification:
- Master’s Degree in Natural or Agriculture Sciences/ MVSc or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Technology or Medicine from a recognized University or equivalent; and
- Four Years experience in Research and Development in Academic Institutions or Science and Technology Organisations and Scientific activities and services. OR
- Doctoral Degree in Science/Engineering/Technology/Pharma/MD/MS from a recognized University or equivalent
- Desirable: PhD in subject area of Biotechnology with demonstrable skills in Python/C/C++, awk and R, strong working experience in LINUX environment, next generation sequence analysis and large datasets handling will be a huge plus, Machine learning and evolutionary biology knowledge is important, knowledge of network biology is highly desirable.

Senior Project Associate:
- Essential Qualification:
- Master’s Degree in Natural or Agriculture Sciences/ MVSc or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Technology or Medicine from a recognized University or equivalent; and
- Four Years experience in Research and Development in Academic Institutions or Science and Technology Organisations and Scientific activities and services. OR
- Doctoral Degree in Science/Engineering/Technology/Pharma/MD/MS from a recognized University or equivalent
- Desirable:
- PhD in subject area of molecular biology/microbiology with experience in molecular biology techniques i.e. DNA isolation, PCR and bioinformatic analysis related to NGS data handling, phylogenetic tree constructions etc.
- Practical exposure in handling microbes, identification, characterization and preservation etc will be an added advantage.

Salary:

- Rs. 35,000/- +HRA to Scholars who are selected through (a) National Eligibility Tests – CSIR-UGC NET including lectureship or GATE or (b) A selection process through National level examinations conducted by Central Government Departments and their agencies and Institutions.
- Rs. 28,000/- +HRA for others
- Senior Project Associate: Rs. 42,000/- + HRA
