Detailed Eligibility Criteria:
Educational Qualifications:
Professor (Tourism & Travel): As per UGC Norms
Associate Professor (Tourism & Travel): As per UGC Norms
Assistant Professor ( Tourism & Travel):
- First Class Master’s Degree in Business Management / Administration in Tourism & Travel Management related discipline or first class in two years full-time PGDM declared equivalent by AIU / approved by AICTE / UGC.
- Preferably PhD. Degree in Tourism and Travel Management domains and UGC-NET Qualified.
Desirable Qualifications:
- Teaching, research, industrial and/or professional experience in a reputed organization. Papers presented at Conferences and/or published in refereed journals.
Programme Assistant:
- Candidates should possess graduation in any discipline. Diploma or Degree in Tourism/Management.
Desirable Qualifications:
- Candidates should possess post Graduation in Tourism/Management.
Junior Engineer (Civil): Officer of Central Government/State Government or Public Sector/ Autonomous Organisations/ College/ Universities/ Educational Institutes:
- Holding analogous posts. Or Holding posts in the pay scale of PB-1 Rs.5200- 20200 with GP-2800 (corresponding Matrix Level-5, as per 7th CPC) with 3 years regular service in the grade. Or Holding posts in the pay scale of PB-1 Rs. 5200- 20200 with GP-2400 (corresponding Matrix Level-4, as per 7th CPC) with 6 years of regular service in the grade.
- Possessing 10+2 followed by a Diploma in Civil Engineering from a recognized University/Polytechnic.
Age Limit (as on 10 April 2023):
Programme Assistant:
- The maximum age limit is 30 years as of the closing date of receipt of the application (Relaxation as per DoPT instruction issued from time to time).
Junior Engineer (Civil):
- The maximum age limit is 56 years as of the closing date of receipt of the application.
Salary :
- Professor: Academic Pay Level 14( 7th CPC).
- Associate Professor: Academic Pay Level 13( 7th CPC)
- Assistant Professor: Academic Pay Level-10 (Rs. 57,700-182400)
- Programme Assistant: Pay Level- 06 (Rs. 35400-112400) (7th CPC)
- Junior Engineer(Civil): Pay Level-06 ( Rs. 35400- 112400(7th CPC)

Selection Process for IITTM Recruitment 2023:
The selection process is based on interviews. IITTM can verify the antecedents as well as documents submitted by aspirants at the time of appointment or during the tenure of service.
