Detailed Eligibility – IIT Palakkad Careers:
Educational Qualification:
Project Areas: Fabrication of a low-cost sensor prototype device for the real-time detection of anaesthetic drugs from human samples
Research Assistant: Candidate should have an MSc in Chemistry/ Polymer chemistry or related subjects with a minimum of 70%
Required Skills:
- Experience in electrochemical sensing
- Synthesis and characterization of 2D materials especially MXenes
- Experience in sensor device development
Age Limit (As on 15 January 2025): Not exceeding 31 years
Age Relaxation: Relaxation to candidates belonging to OBC/SC/ST/PWD categories and women applicants as per Government of India norms
Appointment Duration: 6 months, can be extended to six months more depending upon the performance of the candidate and availability of the project funding

Salary Details: Rs. 27,000/- per month (Consolidated)
