IIMB Careers – Detailed Eligibility:
Educational Qualification:
Senior Research Officer:
- Master’s degree in Civil Engineering/Rural Development/Social Work/Public Health, or related field
- Minimum of 3 – 4 years of experience in research, project management, or technical advisory roles related to water supply, sanitation, or rural development.
- Strong understanding of capacity building, rural management, community development, and challenges in context of rural water supply systems.
- Excellent project management skills, including budgeting, monitoring, and evaluation.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage with stakeholders, facilitate workshops and trainings, and present findings clearly and compellingly.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
- Ability to think strategically, solve problems, and make informed decisions.
- Prior experience working with government agencies, NGOs, or international development agencies is desirable
- Fluency in English with a command of Hindi is preferred
