Detailed Eligibility – ICFRE Careers:
Educational Qualification:
Project: Valuation of forest for GDP, Green GDP and Payment of eco-system goods and services (AICRP-13
Research Associate-I:
- Essential: PhD or Three Years of Research Experience after a Master’s in any of the subjects (Environmental Sciences/Forestry/Agricultural Economics/ Geography); or M.Tech. in RS & GIS with three years experience
- Desirable:
- Exposure to RS&GIS
- Evidence of scientific research as paper/dissertation
Period: Five Years (2020 -2025)
Responsibility: All project-related work/activities of a scientific/technical/official nature with major emphasis on RS & GIS-based analysis of various forest ecosystem services such as climate regulation, and report compilation etc.
Age Limit (As on 07 October 2024): 35 years
Age Relaxation of ICFRE Recruitment: Relaxation in age limit of the candidates/applicants belonging to SC/ST/OBC/ physically handicapped and Women upto 5 years
Salary: Rs. 58,000/- + hostel accommodation/18% HRA only
