Educational Qualification:
Project Title: Building a Surveillance Model for Detecting Zoonotic Spillover in Increased Animal-human Interaction Setting using a Health Approach: A Study at Selected Slaughterhouses
Project Technical Support-I:
- 10th + Diploma in Veterinary Science and Animal Health Technology/Diploma in (MLT/DMLT/ITI) with a minimum 60 per cent marks in the qualifying examination.
- Two years experience in relevant subject/field.
- Candidate should have cleared Matric level Puniabi examination
- Preference will be given to candidates having experience in animal handling and laboratory techniques.
Job Responsibilities:
- Duties according to the mandates of the project.
- Candidate should travel throughout the Punjab state for sample and data collection
- Any other duties that may be assigned from time to time.
Duration:
- The post is purely temporary and the services of the incumbent are liable to be terminated at any time without any prior notice.
- The initial appointment will be for six months and will be extended subject to satisfactory performance
Age Limit (As on 18 October 2024): 28 years
Age Relaxation: The upper age relaxation of 05 years for SC/ST/Women candidates.
Salary: Rs. 18,000/- + 20% HRA per month
