Detailed Eligibility – Engine Factory Avadi Careers:
Educational Qualification:
Design Engineer – Mechanical:
- B.E/B.Tech (4 years full-time course) in Mechanical / Production / Manufacturing / Industrial Engineering degree from recognized Universities / Institutions/colleges with 60% & above
- Experience: Minimum 02 years of experience in Uni-graphics NX software.
- Requirements:
- The candidates should be proficient in Auto-CAD and Uni-graphics NX software. Also, he/she should have working knowledge of MS Office.
- Read and understand 2D drawings and 3D CAD models.
- Knowledge of design techniques, tools, and principles for producing precision technical plans, blueprints, drawings, and models.
- Experienced in working with the team on detailed CAD files explaining the trouble areas on the files, and offering solutions.
- Ability to design fixtures.
- Knowledge about various manufacturing processes.
- The candidate should be able to summarize scientific and engineering principles easily and understandably.
- The candidates should be able to design the components / sub-assembly / assembly aesthetically and functionally with new ideas.
- The candidates should have in-depth knowledge of Unigraphics NX CAD software motion/simulation in NX.
- The candidates should have wide knowledge of new systems/technology to increase efficiency and maintain safety norms.
- The candidates should have the ability to plan effectively to ensure that machines/projects are delivered on time and cost-effectively
Design Assistant – Mechanical:
- Diploma 3-year full-time course in Mechanical / Production / Manufacturing / Industrial Engineering from a recognized University / Institution/college with 60% & above.
- Experience: Minimum 02 years of experience in AutoCAD software & Unigraphics NX.
- Requirements:
- The candidates should be proficient in Auto-CAD software. Also, he/she should have a working knowledge of MS Office.
- The candidates shall have at least two years of experience working on Auto CAD software or Siemens NX.
- The candidates shall have experience with Process Schedule Flow Chart.
- The candidates must have proficiency in Hindi & English language.
Period of Engagement: The Design Engineer and Design Assistant will be engaged initially for one year, which may be extended to three years (including the initial period) based on project requirements and individual performance.
Age limit (As on 30 March 2024):
- Design Engineer – Mechanical: More than 21 years & less than 30 years
- Design Assistant – Mechanical: 30 years
Age Relaxation:
- Relaxation of age for SC/ST/OBC-NCL/PWD and Ex-servicemen / J&K domicile category will be as per Govt. of India guidelines.

Selection Process for Engine Factory Avadi Careers:
- Selection will be based on screening and interviews.
- Only those candidates shortlisted may be called for interviews (physical/virtual)
- The names of candidates shortlisted for interviews will be notified on the AVNL website, and a call letter will be sent to their e-mails.
Screening:
- A screening committee will screen the applications constituted for that purpose.
- The complete Application Form has to be submitted to EFA for screening by the Screening Committee.
- Candidates may be shortlisted for an interview.
- The company may adopt higher criteria in case of receipt of more applicants meeting eligibility criteria.
Interview:
