ECGC Recruitment 2025 – The Export Credit Insurance Organization (ECGC) has announced notification for recruitment to the post of Probationary Officer. There are 30 vacancies to be filled for this post. Candidates with the Any Degree/Master’s Degree qualification are eligible to apply for this post. Detailed Eligibility – ECGC Jobs:

Educational Qualification:

For Probationary Officers (Generalists):

• Bachelor’s Degree/ Graduate in any discipline from a University recognised by the Government of India or any equivalent qualification recognised as such by the Central Government.
• The candidate must possess valid Mark-sheet / Degree Certificate that he/ she is a graduate on the day he/she registers and indicate the percentage of marks obtained in Graduation while registering online.

Probationary Officers (Specialists):

Rajbhasha/Hindi:

• Master’s degree in Hindi /Hindi Translation, with English as core/Elective/Major subject at the Bachelor’s Degree level with minimum 55% for SC/ST and 60% for others from a recognized University OR
• Master’s degree in English with Hindi as core/elective/major subject at the bachelor’s degree level with minimum 55%for SC/ST and 60% for others from a recognized University. OR
• Master’s degree in any discipline with English and Hindi as core/elective/major subjects at the bachelor’s degree level with minimum 55% for SC/ST and 60% for others from a recognized University. OR
• Master’s degree in both English and Hindi/Hindi translation with minimum 55% for SC/ST and 60% for others from a recognized University.

Age Limit (As on 01 November 2025): 

• Minimum: 21 years, Maximum – 30 years i.e., A candidate must have been born not earlier than 02.11.1995 and not later than 01.11.2004 (both the dates inclusive)

Age Relaxation:

• Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe: 5 years
• Other Backward Classes (Non-Creamy Layer): 3 years
• PWBD: 10 years
• Ex-Servicemen: 05 years

Selection Process of ECGC Careers:

• An online screening examination consisting of two papers (Multiple-Choice questions of 200 marks followed by a Descriptive Paper of 40 marks) will be held.

Descriptive Paper (Test of English Language):

• Type activity: Essay Writing/Precis Writing/Translation
• No. of questions: One out of two given options
• Marks: 20 marks each
• Time allotted: 40 minutes for both questions together.

Penalty for Wrong Answers (applicable for Objective (MCQ) Test only):

• There will be penalty for wrong answers marked in the Objective Tests.
• For each question for which a wrong answer has been given by the candidate, one fourth or 0.25 of the marks assigned to that question will be deducted as penalty to arrive at corrected score.
• If a question is left blank, i.e. no answer is marked by the candidate; there will be no penalty for that question.

Interview:

• Candidates who have been shortlisted through the Online Examination will subsequently be called for an interview to be conducted by the Company at Delhi orMumbai.
• The Centre, address of the venue, time and date of interview will be informed to shortlisted candidates in their interview call letter.
• The total marks allotted for interview are 60.
• The minimum qualifying marks in interview shall not be less than 40% (35% for SC/ST/OBC/ PWBD candidates). The weightage (ratio) of Online Examination and interview will be 80:20 respectively.
• The combined final score of the candidates shall be arrived at on the basis of scores obtained by the candidates in the Online Examination and Interview.
• Interview score of the candidates failing to secure minimum qualifying marks or otherwise barred from the interview or further process shall not be disclosed
• A candidate should qualify both in the Online Examination and interview and should be sufficiently high in the merit list to be shortlisted for further selection process, details of which will be made available subsequently on the Company’s website.

• Rs. 175/- for SC/ST/PWBD candidates as intimation charges.
• Rs. 950/- inclusive of intimation charges for all others.
