DRDO CVRDE Recruitment 2022 – Combat Vehicle Research & Development Establishment (CVRDE) invites online application from eligible candidates for the post of Graduate/Technician Apprentice in various trades for 60 vacancies. Candidates with the qualification of B.E/B.Tech/Diploma in respective trades can apply for this job. The selection process is based on the Interview. Educational Qualification:
Graduate Apprentices:
- A Degree in Engineering or Technology granted by a Statutory University in relevant discipline. A Degree in Engineering or Technology granted by an Institution empowered to grant such degree by an Act of Parliament in relevant discipline. Graduate examination of Professional bodies recognized by the State Government or Central Government as equivalent to above.
Technician (Diploma) Apprentices:
- A Diploma in Engineering or technology granted by a State Council or Board of Technical Education established by a State Government in relevant discipline. A Diploma in Engineering or Technology granted by a University in relevant discipline. A Diploma in Engineering and Technology granted by an Institution recognised by the State Government or Central Government as equivalent to above.
Age Limit :
- Age limit will be followed as per Apprenticeship Rules.

- The overall provisional rank list based on marks and community will be shared to Combat Vehicle Research & Development Estt. (CVRDE), Avadi, Chennai, after the cutoff date. Certificate Verification shall be done by Combat Vehicle Research & Development Estt. (CVRDE), Avadi, Chennai.

DRDO CVRDE Recruitment Selection Process :
- The Short listed candidates on the basis of the essential qualification will appear for screening test at CVRDE, Avadi, Chennai-600054. Short listed candidates based on screening test marks will be required to produce original certificates for certificate verification. Valid candidates will be required to appear for CBT/ written test at CVRDE on the same day. Candidates can plan their travel accordingly.
- The final selection of the candidates will be purely on the basis of discipline wise merit of aggregate marks of Screening test and CBT/ written test. Candidates who do not qualify the CBT/ written test will not be considered for final selection Irrespective of their screening test score. In addition to the above, any other selection tool / test may be administered, at the sole discretion of the Director, CVRDE.
