DAHD Recruitment 2024 for Farm Attendant Cum Labour/Driver Posts

DAHD Recruitment 2024: Department of Animal Husbandry & Dairying (DAHD), Government of India, has announced notification for the post of Farm Attendant Cum Labour/Driver. There are six vacancies available for these posts. Candidates with 10th qualifications can apply for these posts. The age limit for these posts will be 18 to 27 years. The selected candidates will be paid Rs. 18,000/- to 63,200/- per month. The selection process will be based on verification of candidates, verification of documents, skill/proficiency test and written test. DAHD Recruitment 2024 for Farm Attendant Cum Labour/Driver:

Educational Qualification:

Farm Attendant Cum Labour:

• Matriculation or equivalent pass from a Recognized Board/ Institution
• Candidates should have one year of experience in farming activities at a reputed institute or farm.

Driver:

Essential: 

• 10th class passed with professional skill in driving with knowledge of vehicular mechanism  [or]
• Training in tractor maintenance and upkeep from any recognized institution and having a valid driving license for heavy motor vehicles.

Desirable: 

• Experience in the maintenance of tractors, heavy machinery and equipment in a recognized farm or a firm of repute.

Period of Probation: Two years.

Maximum Age Limit(As on 06 May 2024):

• Farm Attendant Cum Labour: 18 to 27 years
• Driver: 18 to 25 years

Age Relaxation: 

• Farm Attendant Cum Labour – As per the extant Govt. Rules
• Driver – Relaxable for upto 40 years for departmental candidates.

DAHD Vacancy: 06 Posts

• Farm Attendant Cum Labour: 05 Posts (UR-03, OBC-01, EWS-01)
• Driver – 01 Post (UR)

Pay Scale Details: 

• Farm Attendant Cum Labour: Level-01 (Rs. 18,000/- to 56,900/-) in the pay matrix.
• Driver: Level-02 (Rs. 19,900/- to 63,200/-) in the pay matrix as per 7th CPC.

Selection Process for DAHD Careers:

• The selection process will include verification of candidates, verification of documents, and a skill/proficiency test and written test.
• All the candidates have to appear for document verification along with photocopies and original documents supporting the claim made in their application.
• The candidates who qualify for the document verification will be allowed to appear for skill/proficiency tests.
• Skill/proficiency tests will qualify in nature as per the fixed qualifying standards.
• The candidates must score the minimum percentage of marks fixed in the written test.
• The merit will be drawn based on the marks obtained in the written test.
