CUHP Recruitment 2024: Central University of Himachal Pradesh has announced notification for the Non-Teaching Positions: Medical Officer/Private Secretary:/Personal Assistant/Cook/Kitchen Attendant/Laboratory Assistant/Library Attendant/Multi-Tasking Staff/Statistical Assistant/Lower Division Clerk (LDC)/Pharmacist/Medical Attendant/Dresser posts. Candidates with Any degree/B.Sc/BA/B.Com/M.Pharm/B.Pharm/D.Pharm/MBBS/BAMS/12th/10th/ITI qualifications can apply for these posts. There are 20 vacancies to be filled. Detailed Eligibility – CUHP Jobs:

Education Qualification:

Group -B:

Medical Officer (Male/Female): 

• Medical Graduate in relevant discipline Allopathic/Ayurveda), ie. MBBS / BAMS. registered with the Medical Council of India (MC1)/State Medical Council
• Four years of experience as a Medical Officer in a Teaching Institution / Government Hospital /Registered Hospital / Registered Clinic.

Group -C:

Private Secretary/Personal Assistant:: 

• A Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized University/Institute.
• At least 03 Years experience as Personal Assistant or 5 years as Stenographer in a University/ Research establishment/Central/ State Govt. /PSU and other autonomous bodies.
• English/Hindi Stenography speed:120 wpm in English or 100 wpm in Hindi
• English/Hindi Typing speed: 35 w.p.m. in English or 30 w.p.m.in Hindi.
• Knowledge of computer applications.
• Skill Test Norms on Computer:
• Dictation: 10 minutes @ 120 w.p.m. in English/100 w.p.m. in Hindi
• Transcription: 50 minutes (English) 60 minutes (Hindi)
• Desirable: Proficiency in English & good communication skills.

Group -D:

Cook: 

• 10th Class from a recognized Board.
• ITI Trade Certificate in Bakery and Confectionery (one-year duration)
• 03 years experience in cooking/catering services in educational institutions/ guest houses, at least 3-star hotels or similar organizations.

Kitchen Attendant: 

• 10th Pass from any State/ Central School / Board. OR
• ITI Trade Certificate in the relevant trade.
• Two years experience in cooking/ catering services in a Canteen/ reputed Hotell Guest Houses of reputed organizations/ University

Laboratory Assistant: 

• Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of two years of working and maintenance experience of sophisticated scientific Instruments in the Laboratory. However, the relevant subject will be as decided by the university as per the functional requirement of the department concerned.
• The experience should be in a University/Research establishment /Central / State Govt. / PSU and other autonomous bodies or Private organizations of repute with an annual turnover of at least Rs.200/- Crores or more.

Library Attendant: 

• 10+2 or its equivalent examination from a recognized Board.
• Certificate course in Library Science from a recognized Institution.
• One year experience in a University/ College/ Educational Institution Library.
• Basic knowledge of computer applications.

Multi-Tasking Staff: 

• 10 Pass from a recognized Board. OR ITI Pass.

Statistical Assistant: 

• Bachelor’s Degree in Statistics OR
• Bachelors degree in Mathematics with Statistics as one of the subjects OR
• Bachelor’s degree in Economics with Statistics as one of the subjects. OR
• Bachelor’s de; in Commerce with Statistics as one of the subjects

Lower Division Clerk (LDC): 

• A Bachelor’s Degree from any recognized Institute/University.
• English Typing @ 35 wpm OR Hindi Typing @ 30 wpm(35wpm and 30wpm correspond to 10500KDPH/9000KDPH on an average of 5 Key depressions for each work)
• Proficiency in Computer Operations.

Pharmacist: 

• 10 + 2 in Science stream from a recognized Board /University.
• A minimum of two years of Diploma in Pharmacy with 3 years of experience as a co-founder / Pharmacist in a reputed dispensary or hospital. OR
• A minimum of a four-year Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy with 2 years experience as a Compounder / Pharmacist in a reputed dispensary or hospital. OR
• A minimum of two years of Master’s Degree in Pharmacy with 1 year of experience as a compound / Pharmacist in a reputed dispensary or hospital.
• Registered with Pharmacy Council of India / State
• Note: Experience shall be counted from the date of Registration with the Pharmacy Council of India / State

Medical Attendant /Dresser: 

• Matriculate or equivalent
• Certificate of First Aid issued by the Government Institution/Red Cross Society followed by 02 years experience of working in a Hospital / Dispensary as a medical attendant/Dresser.

Age Limit (As on 22 December 2024): 

• Group -B:
  • Medical Officer (Male/Female): Not exceeding 40 Years
• Group -C:
  • Private Secretary/Personal Assistant 35 Years
• Group -D:
  • Cook: 32 Years
  • Kitchen Attendant:  32 Years

Age Relaxation:

• The upper age limit for appointment of Group ‘C’ posts is relaxable for Group ‘C’ and erstwhile Group ‘D’ departmental candidates up to 40 years in case of General candidates and 45 years in case of candidates belonging to the SC/ST who have rendered three years of continuous regular service in university by the instructions or orders issued by the Govt. of India

Selection process for CUHP Careers:

• Mere eligibility will not entitle any candidate to be called for a Written Test / Skill Test / Interview.
• Only short-listed candidates will be called for a Written Test, Skill Test, or interview. The University reserves the right to place a reasonable limit on the total number of candidates to be called for a Written Test, Skill Test, or interview.
• The Screening Committee will decide the number of such candidates constituted by the University.
• The decision of the Screening Committee shall be final.
