Detailed Eligibility – Central University of Jammu Jobs:
Educational Qualification:
Multi Tasking Staff: 10th Class Pass from a recognized Board OR ITI Pass
Office Attendant/Peon: Matriculation from a recognized Board of School Education.
Age Limit (As on 21 December 2024):
- Multi-Tasking Staff: 35 years
- Peon: Below 35 years
Age Relaxation:
- The age relaxation for SC/ST/OBC/ PwBD candidates shall be given as per University/UGC/GoI rules.
- Candidates who are ordinarily domiciled in the state of J&K shall be given a time age relaxation for 05 years (reserved /unreserved)
Salary Details: Pay Level 1

Selection Process of Central University of Jammu Careers:
- Selection of the candidates will be made based on a 2-tier examination/test and candidates’ entry score marks
- The 2-tier examination consists of the following two tests:
- Written test: 70 Marks
- Skills and/or Applied test: 20 Marks
Written Test:
- There will be a negative marking of 0.33 marks for each incorrect answer.
- Qualifying mark: 28 marks for UR candidates and 24 marks for reserved category candidates. Candidates scoring equal to or more than qualifying marks shall be permitted to appear in the skills test

Experience:
- maximum 10 marks
- Govt/Semi Govt/PSUs/Central or State Autonomous Institutions: 1 mark for every completed one year experience.
- Private Institutions / Organisations having minimum turnover of Rs. 5 crore per annum during preceding year (Balance sheet duly audited by qualified Chartered Accountant): 1 mark for every completed two years experience
