CBSE Recruitment 2025: Central Board of Secondary Education announced notification for Group A, B and C Posts – Assistant Secretary/Assistant Professor & Assistant Director/Accounts Officer/Superintendent/Junior Translation Officer/Junior Accountant/Junior Assistant. There are 124 vacancies available for this post. Candidates with Graduate/Postgraduate/B.Ed./M.Ed/Ph.D/BA/B.Com/BBA/MA/M.Com/MBA/CA/12th qualifications are eligible to apply. Educational Qualification:
Assistant Secretary:
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited University/ Institution
Assistant Professor & Assistant Director (AD) (Academics):
- Post Graduate Degree in any discipline with 55% marks (or equivalent grade) from an accredited University/ Institute with provision of applicable concession to the respective categories.
- Desirable:
- B.Ed./M.Ed or equivalent from an accredited University/ Institute
- NET/SLET
- NET-JRF
- Doctorate Degree from an accredited University/ Institute
Assistant Professor & Assistant Director (Academics/ Training/ Skill Education:
- Post Graduate Degree in any discipline with 55% marks (or equivalent grade) from an accredited University/ Institute with provision of applicable concession to the respective categories.
- Desirable:
- B.Ed./M.Ed or equivalent from an accredited University/ Institute
- NET/SLET iii. NET-JRF

Accounts Officer:
- Bachelor’s degree of an accredited University/ Institution with Economics/ Commerce/ Accounts/ Finance/ Business Studies/ Cost Accounting as one of the subjects. OR
- Bachelor’s degree of an accredited University/Institution and having SAS/JAO(C) examination conducted by any Account/Audit Services/Department of the Central/State Govt. OR
- Post Graduate of an accredited University/Institution with Economics/ Commerce / Accounts/ Finance/ Business Studies/ Cost Accounting as one of the subjects. OR
- M.B.A. (Finance)/Chartered Accountant/ICWA.
- Desirable:
- Experience in the areas of commercial accounting, internal auditing, budgeting, and account compilation
- Experience in the field of investments/fund management/ securities.
Superintendent:
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited University or equivalent
- Working knowledge of Computer/Computer Applications such as Windows, MS-Office, handling of large databases, Internet.
Junior Translation Officer:
- Master’s Degree of a Recognized University in Hindi with English as a compulsory or elective subject or as the medium of examination at the Degree Level. OR
- Master’s Degree of a Recognized University in English with Hindi as a compulsory or elective subject or as the medium of examination at the Degree Level. OR
- Master’s Degree of a recognized University in any subject other than Hindi or English, with Hindi medium and English as a compulsory or elective subject or as the medium of examination at the Degree Level. OR
- Master’s Degree of a recognized University in any subject other than Hindi or English, with English medium and Hindi as a compulsory or elective subject or as the medium of examination at the Degree Level. OR
- Master’s Degree of a recognized University in any subject other than Hindi or English, with Hindi and English as a compulsory or elective subject or either of the two as a medium of examination and the other as a compulsory or elective subject at Degree Level. AND Recognized Diploma or Certificate Course in translation from Hindi to English and vice-versa or three years’ experience in of translation work from Hindi to English and vice-versa in a Central or State Government Office, including Government of India undertaking.
Junior Accountant:
- 12th Class from an accredited Board/ University/ Institution with Accountancy/ Business Studies/ Economics/ Commerce/ Entrepreneurship/ Finance/ Business Administration/ Taxation/ Cost Accounting as one of the subjects. AND
- A typing speed of 35 w.p.m. in English or 30 w.p.m. in Hindi on Computer.
Junior Assistant:
- 12th Class or equivalent qualification from an accredited Board or University
- A computer typing speed of 35 wpm in English or 30 wpm in Hindi (35 wpm and 30 wpm are equivalent to 10500 KDPH and 9000 KDPH, respectively, on an average of five (5) key depressions per word)

Selection Process of CBSE Career:
- The selection process will be based on
- Objective (MCQ) type (OMR-Based) Examination
- Objective type (OMR-based) and Descriptive (Written) Examination
- Interview

Criteria For Shortlisting And Final Selection Of The Candidate:
- The cut off marks for Tier-1 and Tier-2 will be 5% below the cut-off marks of the UR category candidates for OBC/EWS, and 10% below the cut-off marks of the UR category for SC/ST/PwBD respectively.
- The Board reserves the right to decrease the shortlisting Criteria/Cut off marks for Tier-2/Interview/Skill Test, as the case may be in case the requisite number of candidates is not available in OBC/EWS/SC/ST/PwBD categories.
- However, no candidate will be considered for the selection process if they secure less than 30% of the maximum marks in any tier of examination (Tier-1 and Tier-2) in any case.

- For Unreserved/OBC/EWS – Es. 1750/-
- For Board’s Regular Employee(s) – Nil
