BPCL Jobs – Detailed Eligibility:
Educational Qualification:
Junior Executive(Engineering):
- Candidate must have passed Diploma in Engineering (3-year course) in Mechanical / Electrical / Instrumentation / Electronics/ Civil/ Chemical Engineering from a recognized University with minimum 60% aggregate percentage (or equivalent CGPA & above), relaxed to 55% for SC/ ST/ PwBD candidates
- Experience: 5 years
Associate Executive(Engineering):
- Candidate must have passed B. Tech / B.E./ B. Sc (Engg) (4-year course) in Mechanical / Electrical / Instrumentation / Electronics/ Civil/ Chemical Engineering from a recognized University with minimum 60% aggregate percentage (or equivalent CGPA & above), relaxed to 55% for SC/ ST/ PwBD candidates.
- Experience: 3 years
Junior Executive(Accounts):
- Graduate in any discipline with minimum 55% aggregate marks (relaxed to 50% for candidates belonging to SC/ST and PwBD categories) AND have passed the CA Intermediate / CMA Intermediate from CA/ CMA institute respectively
- Experience: 5 years
Associate Executive(Quality Assurance):
- M. Sc (Chemistry), with specialization in Organic / Physical / Inorganic /Analytical chemistry, from a recognized University with a minimum of 60% aggregate percentage (or equivalent CGPA & above), relaxed to 55% for candidates belonging to SC/ST/PWD categories.
- Experience: 3 years
Secretary:
- Bachelor’s degree (3-year course), with minimum 70% marks in aggregate (or equivalent CGPA), relaxed to 65% for SC/ ST/ PwBD categories from a recognized university. AND
- Class XII with minimum 70% marks in aggregate (or equivalent CGPA), relaxed to 65% for SC/ST/PwBD categories from a recognized institute. AND
- Class X with minimum 70% marks in aggregate (or equivalent CGPA), relaxed to 65% for SC/ST/PwBD categories from a recognized institute.
- Diploma / Certification in Admin Secretarial & PA/ Executive Assistant / Secretarial Practice/ Office Management of at least 6 months duration is desirable.
- Experience: Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience as a Secretarial Assistant / Secretary or similar roles.
Age Limit (As on 01 May 2025):
- Junior Executive(Engineering): 32 years
- Associate Executive(Engineering): 32 years
- Associate Executive(Accounts): 35 years Min. Age- 30 years
- Associate Executive(Quality Assurance): 32 years
- Secretary: 32 years
Age Relaxation:
- Upper Age Limit for General and EWS candidates- 32 years.
- Age relaxations in Upper Age Limit will be applicable to the candidates belonging to various categories (OBC-NCL/ SC/ ST/ PWD/ Ex-Servicemen) as per the Presidential Directives.
- Cumulative relaxation in age for one/more than one category taken together shall be limited to maximum 10 years
Salary:
- Junior Executive: Rs. 30000-120000/-
- Associate Executive(Engineering): Rs. 40000-140000/-
Selection Process of BPCL Careers:
- The multi-stage selection process may comprise various shortlisting tools like Application Screening (based on the number of years of relevant work experience, educational qualification, etc.), Written/Computer Tests, Case-Based Discussion, Group Tasks, Personal Interviews, etc.
- The selection process adopted will depend on the number of applications received for a particular profile.
- The provisional selection of the candidate will be based on multiple parameters, such as Relevant work- experience, Significant on-the-job achievements, and Performance in various selection processes.
