- Master’s Degree from a recognized University with at least 50 % marks in aggregate in any of the following subjects:

- TGT (Science) – Bachelor’s degree in Science with any two of the following subjects: – Botany, Zoology, Chemistry and Physics

PRT:
- Graduate holding Bachelor’s degree with at least 50% marks in the concerned subject /combination of subjects and in aggregate.
- B.El.Ed./ 02-year D.El.Ed. OR
- Candidates with B.Ed. or Integrated B.Ed. can also apply with fulfillment of the condition of six-month PDPET/Bridge Course from an NCTE recognized institute as when NCTE approves any institute to conduct the said course within two years of recruitment as PRT or commencement of the course whichever is later.
- Pass in Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET)/Teachers Eligibility Test (TET), conducted by CBSE/State Govt in accordance with the guidelines framed by the NCTE for the purpose.

Selection Process of AWES Army Public School Careers:
- Shortlisted eligible candidates will be called for interview, Teaching Skill Test & Computer Proficiency Test. For language Teachers (for both PGT&TGT) a written test will be conducted to assess the written expression of the candidate.
- Applications are invited from successful candidates of Online Screening Test (OST) exam & those who fulfill the following criteria are eligible for appearing in the Interview Teaching Skills Test and Computer Proficiency Test.
Online Screening Test (OST):
- Valid CSB Score Card issued up to 28 Feb 2022 OR
- Valid OST Score Card issued up to 12 Dec 2024 with a minimum percentile of 70%. OR
- Candidates who have not qualified in OST may also apply and appear for Interview, Teaching Skills Test and Computer Proficiency Test. However, after selection to the post of a Teacher (Regular & Fixed Term), the candidate must qualify OST as per details given below:
- Regular Candidate: Within 02 years of being appointed with a minimum overall raw score of 50% (100 marks) & minimum percentile of 70%.
- Fixed Term Candidate: Within 01 year of being appointed with a minimum overall raw score of 40% (80 marks) & minimum percentile of 70%
- Such candidates (without OST Score Card) will be appointed on ADHOC basis and will be absorbed as Regular, post qualifying OST with minimum percentile 70% and overall raw score of 50% within 02 years of appointment, failing which their appointment will stand terminated automatically.
Interview: List of shortlisted candidates for interview will be intimated via email and the same will be uploaded on School website (candidates may visit the school website on regular basis).
