AOC Recruitment 2023 notification announced for the posts of Group – C in various disciplines. There are totally 1,793 Posts available in above mentioned posts. Candidates with the qualification of 10th pass are eligible to apply for the job. The interested and eligible candidates can apply for the job through online mode. About AOC: The history of ordnance in India dates back to the 15th century. The early ordnance stores in the Indian sub-continent were established by the British East India Company for their logistical requirements. Following the military expansion of the company, the needs of military troops increased which in turn required the support of an ordnance department. By accepting the report of then Commander-in-Chief of the Bengal Army, Lieutenant General Sir John Clavering, the Board of Ordnance was established on April 8, 1775.This is considered to be the first step towards the recognition of the Army Ordnance Corps (AOC). Initially the board was put under the control of the Bengal Presidency.

- Essential: Matriculation pass or equivalent from a recognized board.
- Desirable: Certificate in any Trade from a recognized Industrial Training Institute.
Fireman : Matriculation pass or equivalent from a recognized board.

Selection Process of AOC Recruitment 2023 :
- The selection process includes Written test/Interview.
- Details of candidates shortlisted for Recruitment Test after scrutiny and shortlisting of applications received online will be hosted on the Web Application.
- Depending on the number of applications received, the number of candidates for tests will be restricted by the system based short listing process based on the marks obtained in the prescribed minimum educational qualification for the posts.
Written Test:
- Duration of Examination : 2 Hours (20 Minutes extra for each hours for visually handicapped candidates only).
- The paper will consist of objective type-multiple choice questions only.
- The questions will be set both in English and Hindi, except General English, English Language & Comprehension.
- Examination will be conducted in objective type questions and to be answered on Optical Mark Recognition (OMR) Sheets.
- There will be provision of negative marking (0.25 marks for each wrong answer) in written test for incorrect answers.
