Educational Qualification:
Project Title: “A multi-site study on the feasibility, acceptability, and validity of different rapid methods for estimating potentially missed events to measure COVID-19-associated mortality, including mortalities associated with selected comorbidities in India” at ICMR-NIIRNCD, Jodhpur.
Project Consultant Scientific:
- Essential:
- Ph.D. in Public Health/Social Sciences
- Having considerable medical/health research experience and a good publication history
- Desirable: Having publication in high-impact factor journals as first/corresponding author
- Tenure: Initially for up to 09-10-2024 (extendable as per norms). However, the position is terminus at any point in time.
Upper Age Limit (As on 10 May 2024): Not exceeding 70 years
Salary: Rs. 1,00,000/- depending upon experience and knowledge.

- 12th Science + Diploma (MLT/DMLT) + five year experience in laboratory work.

- Project Technical Support-II: 30 Years
Age Relaxation: Age relaxation will be admissible for SC/ST/OBC candidates and the retrenched government. Employees, Departmental Candidates (including projects) and Ex-servicemen cfc. under the instructions issued by the Central Government/DoPT / ICMR from time to time.
Salary:
- Project Technical Support-II: Rs.20,000/- + HRA per month (as admissible under the rules) fixed without any other allowances.

Selection Process of NIIRNCD Career:
- The selection process will be based on Walk-in-Interview
- Only eligible candidates will appear for an interview / written test.
- In case of more than 30 candidates, a written test shall be taken. The qualifying marks for the written test shall be as under : For SC/ST: 35%; For UR/OBC / EWS: 40%
- The candidates will be selected based on their performance in the written test/interview subject to qualifying the skill test, wherever applicable.
- The final merit shall be prepared on the basis of marks of written test and interview. In case of non-conductance of written test being less than 30 candidates, the merit shall be prepared on the basis of marks obtained in the interview.
