Detailed Eligibility:
Systems Administrator Technology Operations (Catalog Associate):
- Any bachelor’s degree or equivalent with 1 – 3 years work experience in Retail/e-Commerce Industry and a Proficient in understanding of e-commerce Operations
- Strong English comprehension and Communication with active listening skills.
- Excellent Email Etiquettes, Flexible to work in multiple shifts
- Mastery of Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; Proficiency with Visio a plus
- Strong Analytical skills: Has problem solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to understand the scenario and deep dive and highlight opportunities to eliminate process redundancy.
Technical Capabilities
- Technical Skills & Knowledge:
- Basic understanding of system administration concepts such as user account management, permissions, and system monitoring.
- Familiarity with ticketing systems (e.g., JIRA, ServiceNow) and incident management workflows.
- Exposure to SQL or data querying tools to extract and analyze operational data for issue resolution and reporting.
- Basic scripting knowledge (e.g., Python) to automate repetitive tasks and improve operational efficiency.
- Understanding of APIs and data flows between systems to help troubleshoot integration issues.
- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) or SaaS tools used in retail/e-commerce environments is a plus.
- Technical Collaboration & Communication:
- Ability to translate business issues into technical requirements and vice versa when working with engineering and product teams.
- Comfortable participating in UAT (User Acceptance Testing) and providing feedback on system changes or new features.
- Experience in documenting technical processes and creating knowledge base articles for internal and external stakeholders.
- Tools & Platforms:
- Familiarity with catalog management systems, exposure to data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) for reporting and insights generation.
- Understanding of version control systems (e.g., Git) and basic software development lifecycle concepts
Team and Position Summary: This position is with US Omni tech (Merchant Operations Team) and is responsible for Merchant operations support for our retail and ecommerce lines of business. To improve the Merchants/Supplier Support experience and increase self-adoption rate in resolving their item issues by educating Merchants/Suppliers with the help docs which will improve the impact of changes in Walmart’s business processes on the Supplier/Merchant and End-user experience (End to End Item setup and Maintenance)
