Educational Qualification:

Technical Assistant (Life Sciences):

1st class three-year Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences from a recognized University with at least one of the following subjects Zoology/Microbiology/Molecular Biology/Biotechnology

Technical Assistant (Computer Science):

1st class three-year Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Computer Applications/ Information Technology OR
1st class three-year Engineering Diploma in Computer Science /Computer Applications/Information Technology with two years experience in relevant field. OR
1st class B.E/B.Tech in Computer Science /Computer Applications /Information Technology from a recognized University.

Technical Assistant (Physiotherapy):

1 st class Bachelor’s degree in Physiotherapy from a recognized University

Technical Assistant (Chemistry):

1st class three-year Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry from a recognized University

Technical Assistant (Sociology/Social work):

1st class three-year Bachelor’s degree in Sociology/Social work from a recognized University.

Technical Assistant (Electrical Engineering):

1st class three-year Engineering Diploma in Electrical Engineering from a recognized University with two years experience in electrical works. OR
1st class B.E/B. Tech in Electrical Engineering.

Technical Assistant (Civil Engineering):

1st class three-year Engineering Diploma in Civil Engineering from a recognized University with two years experience in civil works. OR
1st class B.E/B. Tech in Civil Engineering

Technical Assistant (Bioinformatics):

1st class three-year Bachelor’s Degree in Bioinformatics from a recognized University

Technician-I (Medical Lab Technology):

12th or Intermediate pass in Science subject with 55% marks and at least one year Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology (DMLT) from a Government Institution.

Technician-I(Refrigeration & Air Conditioning):

12th or Intermediate pass in Science subject with 55% marks and at least one year Diploma in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning from a Government recognized Institution.

Technician-I(Plumber):

12th or Intermediate pass in Science subject with 55% marks and at least one-year Diploma in Plumbing course from a Government recognized Institution

Laboratory Attendant-I:

10th pass with 50% marks in aggregate from a recognized board plus one-year working experience in a Government recognized/approved/registered lab

Laboratory Attendant-I (Catering & Hospitality Assistant) :

10th pass with 50% marks in aggregate from a recognized board plus one-year working experience in a Government recognized/approved/registered Institution or ITI/Trade certificate in a relevant field issued by Government agencies

Laboratory Attendant-I (Instrument Mechanic) :

10th pass with 50% marks in aggregate from a recognized board plus one-year working experience in a Government recognized/approved/registered Institution or ITI/Trade certificate in a relevant field issued by Government agencies

Selection Process of VCRC Recruitment 2023 :

The selection process includes a Written test followed by a Skill test
The date, time, and venue of the Written Test will be communicated to the shortlisted candidates through email and will be published in the website of ICMR-VCRC
SCHEME OF TEST for Technical Assistant and Technician-I
In relevant subjects -60 (60m), General Intelligence -10 (10m), General Awareness -10 (10m), Quantitative Aptitude (BasicArithmetic skills)- 10 (10m), English Language Basic Knowledge -10 (10m) for 90 minutes
SCHEME OF TEST for Laboratory Attendant-I
In relevant subjects -20 (20m), General Intelligence -20 (20m), General Awareness -20 (20m), Quantitative Aptitude (BasicArithmetic skills)- 20 (20m), English Language Basic Knowledge -20 (20m) for 90 minutes
