UP Scholarship Status 2020:
The government of Uttar Pradesh has introduced Minority Welfare, Backward Classes Welfare, Tribal Welfare and Social Welfare for the candidates to help financially for the education. Candidates who are all students in the UP have advantages for applying this UP scholarship scheme. Every year lakhs of candidates are getting benefited from this scholarship scheme for their education. This scheme is very useful for SC/ ST/ BC/ Minority categories candidates and they should have annual income 1 lakh or 2 lakh. Economically weak candidates apply for the various scheme they are Pre Matric (Class 9th – 10th), Post Matric (Class 11th – 12th), Post Matric Other than Inter, Post Matric Out Side State. UP Scholarship Eligible Criteria:
- Students who are willing to apply for the UP scholarship can check the eligibility criteria which is detailed given below and then apply for the scholarship:-
Pre Matric Scholarship for SC/ST/General Category:
- Class 9 and Class 10 are eligible
- The annual income of the family should not exceed 1 Lakh.
Post-Matric Intermediate Scholarship for ST/SC/General Category:
- Class 11 and Class 12 are eligible
- For General candidates, the annual income should not exceed INR 2 Lakh
- For SC/ST the annual income of the family should not exceed INR 2.5 Lakh candidates.
Post-Matric (Other Than Intermediate) Scholarship for SC/ST/General Category:
- Graduation, postgraduation, Ph.D., or higher level are eligible to avail of this scholarship.
- For General candidates, the annual income should not exceed INR 2 Lakh
- For SC/ST the annual income of the family should not exceed INR 2.5 Lakh candidates.
Post-Matric Other State Scholarship for SC/ST/General Category:
- Class 11 or above are eligible
- For General candidates, the annual income should not exceed INR 2 Lakh
- For SC/ST the annual income of the family should not exceed INR 2.5 Lakh candidates.
Pre-Matric Scholarship for Minorities:
- Class 9 or Class 10 are eligible
- The annual income of the family should not exceed 1 Lakh.
Post-Matric (Other than Intermediate) Scholarship for Minorities:
- Minority community students pursuing their graduation, postgraduation, Ph.D. or higher-level education are eligible
- The annual income of the family should not exceed INR 2 Lakh
Post-Matric Intermediate Scholarship for Minorities:
- Minority community students studying in Class 11 and Class 12 are eligible
- The annual income of the family should not exceed INR 2 Lakh
Pre-Matric Scholarship for OBC Students:
- Class 9 and Class 10 are eligible
- The annual income of the family should not exceed INR 1 Lakh
Post-Matric Intermediate Scholarship for OBC Students:
- Class 11 and 12 are eligible
- The annual income of the family should not exceed INR 2 Lakh
Post-Matric (Other than Intermediate) Scholarship for OBC Students:
- Graduation, postgraduation, Ph.D. or higher level
- The annual income of the family should not be more than INR 2 Lakh
