TRBT Recruitment 2022 – Teachers Recruitment Board, Tirpura invites application form for the post of Post Graduate Teacher. There are 300 vacancies are to be filled for this recruitment. Candidates who completed their PG Degree in relevant field are eligible to apply for this job. The selection process is based on the interview. Interested and eligible candidates can apply for this post on or before 20 May 2022. The detailed eligibility and application process are given below.

About TRBT: In accordance with the provisions of sub-section (1) of section 23 of the RTE Act, National council for Teacher Education had vide Notification dated 23rd August, 2010 laid down the minimum qualifications for a person to be eligible for appointment as a teacher in various levels of classes. It had been inter alia provided that one of the essential qualifications for a person to be eligible for appointment as a teacher for classes I to VIII in any of the schools referred to in clause (n) of section 2 of the RTE Act is that she / he should pass the Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) which will be conducted by the appropriate Government in accordance with the Guidelines framed by the National council for Teacher Education (NCTE).

Educational Qualification:

Post Graduate in relevant subject/ allied subject (equivalency of which to be determined by equivalent committee) with at least 50% marks (or its equivalent) from recognized University and Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) from NCTE recognized institution. Or
Post Graduate in relevant subject/allied subject (equivalency of which to be determined by equivalent committee) with at least 45% marks (or its equivalent) from recognized University and Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) from National Council for Teacher Education recognised institution { in accordance with the National Council for Teacher Education (Form of application for recognition, the time limit of submission of application, determination of norms and standards for recognition of teacher education programmes and permission to start a new course or training ) Regulations, 2002 notified on 13.11.2002 and National Council for Teacher Education (Recognition Norms and Procedure) Regulations, 2007 notified on 10.12.2007). Or
Post Graduate in relevant subject/allied subject (equivalency of which to be determined by equivalent committee) with at least 50% marks (or its equivalent) from recognized University and B.A. Ed. / B.Sc. Ed. from any NCTE recognized institution.

TRBT Recruitment 2022 Selection Process:

The selection process will be based on written test/interview. Question paper for STPGT-2022 will have 150 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) of one mark each. Candidates have to shade/darken the right choice of answer from among the four options for each question given in the Question Booklet. There will be no negative marking. Question paper will be in English and Bengali only (other than language Paper). OMR Answer Sheet for marking answers and instructions etc. will be in English only. Note: In case of any discrepancy or confusion concerning two versions of Question Booklet, the English version will be treated as authentic/final.
Merit list will be prepared form amongst the candidates, who obtain minimum marks, that is 50% (75 out of 150) or more marks for UR category and 45% (68 out of 150) or more marks for SC/ST/PH category in STPGT-2022. Candidates obtain less than the required minimum marks will not be considered for preparation of merit list for selection of candidates for recruitment.
