THDC Recruitment 2023 notification announced for the Engineers/Executives/Managers/Engineer Trainee posts in the Civil, Electrical, and Mechanical disciplines. There are 129 vacancies available for the above-mentioned posts. Candidates with the qualification of B.E/B.Tech/B.Sc/Diploma is eligible to apply for the job. Detailed Eligibility:
Educational Qualification:
Engineer Trainee(Civil/Electrical/Mechanical):
- B.E/B.Tech/B.Sc (Engg.)/in relevant Discipline
- Candidates with not less than 65% marks or equivalent CGPA (taking an average of all subjects) in XII & X examinations will only be considered.
Notes:
- For OBC candidates,64.99% in Essential Qualification and marks in Overall Percentage Marks in Xth & XIIth are not eligible, and the same shall not be rounded off to 65%.
- For SC, ST and PwBDs candidates, only pass marks is required in Essential Qualification and Overall Percentage of Marks in Xth & XIIth.
- For Departmental Candidates (THDCIL employees only), only Pass marks is required in Essential Qualification and Overall Percentage of Marks in Xth & XIIth.
Age Limit ( As on 17 May 2023 ):
- 35 years for SC & ST candidates.
- 33 years for OBC candidates.
Age Relaxation:
- For PwBDs candidates, age relaxation will be considered as per the Govt. Guidelines.
- For Departmental Employees (THDC employees only), the age relaxation will be considered as per the THDCIL Policy.
- The upper age limit shall also be relaxed by 5 years for candidates belonging to THDCIL Project Affected Families
Salary:
- Trainee Engineer(During Training): Rs. 50,000.00 in the pay scale of Rs. 50,000 – 3%-1,60,000 (IDA)
- Senior Engineer(After Training): Rs. 60,000-3%-1,80,000 (IDA).

Selection Process:
- The selection process consists of marks obtained in the corresponding paper of GATE 2022 and a Personal Interview.

- The Qualifying percentage for OBC(NCL) is 50% and for SC/ST/PwBDs 30%.

Engineer (Mechanical)/Sr. Engineer (Mechanical)/Dy. Manager (Mechanical):
- Full-time regular Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical/ Mechanical & Automation Engineering (B.E/B.Tech/B.Sc.- Engg.) from a recognized Indian University/Institute approved by AICTE with not less than 60% marks or equivalent CGPA, taking the average of all Semesters/Years, irrespective of the weightage given to any particular semester/year by the University/ Institute.
- Experience: 01 – 11 years
Executive (Masters in Social Work)/Sr. Executive (Masters in Social Work):
- Master of Arts in Rural Development or Master of Arts in Social Work from a recognized Indian University/Institute approved by AICTE with not less than 60% marks or equivalent CGPA, taking an average of all Semesters/Years, irrespective of the weightage given to any particular semester/year by the University/ Institute.
- Experience: 01 – 06 years
Engineer (IT):
- Full-Time B.E/B.Tech/ B.Sc (Engg./Technology)/ MCA/ Level “B” examination in Computer Science /Information Technology from a recognized Indian University or Institute recognized by an appropriate statutory authority in India with not less than 60% marks.

Executive (Admin- Guest House):

Age Relaxation:
- Relaxation in Upper age Limit for OBC(NCL)/SC/ST/PwBDs/J&K Domiciled/ Ex-Servicemen /Doob Kshetra/ Departmental Candidates shall be as per Government of India directives/guidelines.
- The upper age limit shall also be relaxed by 5 years for candidates belonging to THDCIL Project Affected Families/Doob Kshetra.
- The upper age limit is relaxed by 05 years for SC/ST/, and 03 years for OBC (NCL) candidates.
- It is relaxed by 10 years for PwBD-General/EWS, 13 years for PwBD for OBC (NCL), and 15 years for PwBD SC/ST/ candidate.
- The OBC candidates who belong to the “Creamy Layer” are not entitled to concession admissible to OBC-category and such candidates have to indicate their category as General.
- The upper age is relaxed by 05 years for the candidates who had ordinarily been domiciled in the State of Jammu & Kashmir from 01.01.1980 to 31.12.1989.
- The age relaxation for Ex-Servicemen (Ex-SM) will be as per Government of India guidelines.
