Detailed Eligibility for Sainik School Bijapur Careers:
Educational Qualification:
Ward Boys:
- Essential: Minimum 10th pass from recognized board.
- Desirable: Communication in English, Higher qualification, experience in handling the students in a residential School / Institution, knowledge of computers & typing and, experience in housekeeping duties, and experience working as a Hostel Warden/ Ward Boy in any Residential Public School.
- The candidate should be physically fit.
- Preference will be given to ex-servicemen.
PEM/PTI-Cum-Matron (Female only):
- Essential: Minimum 10th pass with proficiency in Games /Sports from a recognized board.
- Desirable:
- Having experience in this profession in a reputed Public School.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Education (B.P.ED) or equivalent with 50% Marks.
- Communication in English.
- Knowledge of computers & typing and experience in housekeeping duties
Nursing Sister (Female Only):
- Essential: Diploma in Nursing/ Diploma in General Nursing & Midwife.
- Desirable:
- Communication in English, Higher qualification.
- Having experience of a minimum of 05 years working in residential Public Schools.
- The candidates should be physically fit.
Counselor:
- Essential: Graduate / Post Graduate in Psychology or Post Graduate in Child Development or Graduate with a diploma in Career Guidance and Counseling
- Desirable:
- Experience in providing career/ educational counseling to students in a reputed school.
- Registration with Rehabilitation Counselor of India as a vocational counselor.
- Interested in other extracurricular activities and aptitude for residential school lifestyle.
- The candidate should be physically fit.
PGT (Chemistry):
- Post Graduate with Chemistry and M.Ed. or M.Sc. Ed. Chemistry as a subject during post-graduation.
- Ability to teach in English Medium. Proficiency in Games & Sports and excellent expression in English.
- Higher qualifications with knowledge of computer applications. Candidates preferred with experience.
TGT(English):
- Bachelor’s Degree with at least 50% marks in the concerned subjects/combination of subjects and aggregate. English as a subject in all three years.
- B.Ed from a recognized university.
- Passed the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET), conducted by CBSE by the Guidelines framed by the NCTE for the purpose / STET conducted by the State Govt.
TGT(Biology):
- Graduate with Biology and B.Ed. or B.Sc. Ed
- Ability to teach in English Medium. Proficiency in Games & Sports and excellent expression in English
- Preferred for Post Graduate in Biology with B.Ed/M.Ed.
TGT(Maths):
- Graduate with Mathematics and B.Ed. or B.Sc. Ed

TGT(Kanada):
- Graduate with Kannada and B Ed. Kannada as a subject in all three years.
- Teaching experience of two years in CBSE-affiliated, preferably residential
- Higher qualifications with knowledge of computer applications.
TGT(Physics):
- Graduate with Physics and B.Ed.
- Ability to teach through English Medium. Proficiency in Games & Sports and excellent expression in English.
- Preferred for Post Graduate in Physics with B.Ed/M Ed.
TGT(Social Science):
- Graduate with Social Science and B.Ed
- Ability to teach through English Medium. Proficiency in Games & Sports and excellent expression in English.

Music Teacher:
- Graduate with 50% marks and Bachelor’s Degree in Music or equivalent and competence to teach through Hindi & English media.
