Educational Qualifications:
PGT- Physics:
- Two years Integrated Post Graduate M.Sc. Course of Regional Institute of Education of NCERT in Physics, with atleast 50% marks in aggregate.ย OR
- Masterโs Degree in Physics with atleast 50% marks in aggregate from a recognised University.ย AND
- B.Ed or equivalent from a recognized University/ Institute.
- Proficiency in teaching in English media.
Laboratory Assistant (Physics):
- Essential: Should have passed 12th/ Intermediate with Science (Physics) as one of the subjects or equivalent.
- Higher Qualification (with Physics as one of the subject).
- Experience of teaching in a Residential English Medium CBSE school in concerned subject.
- Good communication skills in English with knowledge of computer applications.
- Proficiency in NCC/ games/ sports/ extra curricular activities.
Art Master:
- Masterโs degree in Fine Art (with Painting specialization)ย OR
- Graduate with Fine Art/Art/Drawing and Painting as one of the subjects with minimum 4 years Diploma from a recognized Institute/ University.ย OR
- Higher Secondary/ Intermediate/ Sr. Sec. School Certificate Examination with minimum 5 years (full time)/ 7 year (Part time) diploma in Fine Art/ Painting/ Drawing and Painting from a recognized Institute/ University.
Nursing Sister (Female):
- Essential: Degree/ Diploma in Nursing
- Minimum five yearsโ experience after obtaining degree/diploma.
- Ability to speak in English and Hindi/ Tamil.
- Aptitude for Residential school life style.
- Previous experience in Military Training Institution/ Military Schools/ Sainik schools/Boarding Schools preferred.
- Willingness to stay inside the campus
Ward Boys:
- Should have passed Matriculation or equivalent examination and should possess the ability to converse in English and Hindi/Tamil fluently.
- Experience in handling the students in a residential school/ Institution and experience in housekeeping duties.

Selection Process of Sainik School Amaravathinagar Careers:
- Selection process will consist of three steps i.e., Written examination, Class Demonstration and Personal Interview for PGT/Laboratory Assistant/Art Master.
- For the remaining posts the selection process will consist of written examination, Skill/Trade tests and Personal Interview.
- A candidate will be required to score minimum 33% marks to qualify for the next step of the selection process.
- However, the minimum required marks may be increased upto 50% by the Board of Officers to shortlist the candidates for the next step of selection process.
- Weightage for higher qualification and experience will be given
- Only short listed candidates who fulfil eligibility criteria based on essential qualification will be called for selection process.
