MDL12023:
- Trade Certificate in Mechanic Diesel Trade from a Government Recognized Institute.

FTR12023:
- Trade Certificate in Fitter Trade from a Government Recognized Institute.
- Must have passed Class 10 from a Government Recognized Board.
BLR12023:
- Trade Certificate in the relevant course of 2 years duration from a Government Recognized Institute. Must have passed Class 10 from a Government Recognized Board.
- Must possess valid and current 2nd Class Boiler Attendant Certificate issued by a Competent Authority.
WLD12023:
- Trade Certificate in Welder Trade from a Government Recognized Institute.
- Must have passed Class 10 from a Government Recognized Board.
IMC12023:
- Trade Certificate in Instrument Mechanic Trade from a Government Recognized Institute.
- Must have passed Class 10 from a Government Recognized Board.
TCL12023:
- Passed B.Sc. in Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics from a Government Recognized University/Board/Institute.
- Must have a minimum of 03 (three) years post-qualification work experience in chemical activities-fields/lab in the Oil & Gas/ Petrochemical Industry
TBR12023:
- Trade Certificate in the relevant course of 2 years duration from a Government Recognized Institute. Must have passed Class 10 from a Government Recognized Board.
- Must possess valid and current 1st Class Boiler Attendant Certificate issued by a Competent Authority.
NTR12023:
- B.Sc. Nursing or Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing (PB-B.Sc.) from an Institute recognized by Indian Nursing Council.
- Must have professional experience of 02 (two) years after obtaining registration from State Nursing Council.
CIV12023:
- Passed 03 (three) years of Diploma in Civil Engineering from a Government Recognized University/Board/ Institute.
- Must have passed Class 10 from a Government Recognized Board.
MEC12023:
- Passed 03 (three) years of Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from a Government Recognized University/Board/Institute.

Selection Process:
- The selection process includes CBT.
- Only those candidates, who fulfill the eligibility criteria mentioned in this advertisement/notification of the crucial date will be called for the Computer Based Test (CBT).
- Final selection will be made in order of merit on the basis of the marks obtained in the Computer Based Test (CBT) only.
- Candidate(s), who are shortlisted for Computer Based Test, will be intimated through e-mail/SMS.
- Mere issue of admit card/call letter to the candidate(s) for any stage of the selection process will not imply that his/her candidature has been finally accepted by OIL.
CBT:
- The Computer Based Test (CBT) will comprise questions in the multiple-choice questions (MCQ) format.
- There will be no negative marking in the Computer Based Test (CBT).
- The selection process shall consist of a Computer Based Test (CBT) wherein the qualifying marks will be a minimum of 40% marks for SC/ST/Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (wherever reservation is applicable) and a minimum of 50% marks for others.
- The Computer Based Test (CBT) will be bilingual i.e. English & Assamese.
- The total duration of the Computer Based Test (CBT) will be 02 (two) hours.

Detailed Eligibility Criteria:
Educational Qualifications:
Contractual Drilling Engineer:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Petroleum /Mechanical Engineering of four years duration from a Govt. recognized institute. Post Qualification Work Experience of more than 03 years in the upstream Oil & Gas industry. Must possess a valid Well Control Certificate (IWCF Level-4/IADC-L4.)
Contractual Geologist:
- Post Graduate in Geology /Applied Geology of two years duration from a Govt. recognized institute. Post Qualification Work Experience of more than 03 years as a Wellsite Geologist.
Contractual Chemist:
- Post Graduate in Chemistry of Two years duration from a Govt. recognized institute. Post Qualification Work Experience of more than 05 years in Preparation, Maintenance, and Supply of Water Base Drilling Fluid (Mud) in Drilling well. Or
- Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering of four years duration from a Govt. recognized institute. Post Qualification Work Experience of more than 07 years in Preparation, Maintenance, and Supply of Water Base Drilling Fluid (Mud) in Drilling well.
Contract Period:
- Contractual engagement will be for a period of 01 years, extendable by another 01-year subject to a maximum period of 02 years. The said contract period will be extendable depending upon the requirement of the company, performance of the individual, conduct, fitness, etc.
Age Limit (as on 10 April 2023):
- The minimum age is 24 years and the maximum age limit is 40 years.
Age Relaxation:
- Reservation and age relaxation will be as per Govt. guidelines.

- The final selection of the candidates who have appeared and secured 50 in the Walk-in-Interview will be only on the basis of merit as per the marks obtained in the Walk-in-Interview.
