Educational Qualification:
- To be eligible to apply for the post, the candidates must have passed the +2 Examination or other equivalent qualifications with knowledge in Basic Computer Skills.

Selection Process for Odisha Police Job Vacanice 2024:
The Competitive Examination for the post of Jr. Clerk shall consist of a Written Test and a Practical Skill Test on a Computer.
Written Test:
- The Written Test shall comprise two Papers, i.e. Paper I and Paper II. Details of the subjects and marks of the Papers are given below.

- The minimum qualifying marks in the Written Test of each subject in Paper-l and Il for UR & SEBC candidates is 35, and for SC & ST candidates
is 30.
Practical Skill Test:
- Only those shortlisted candidates who obtain minimum qualifying marks in the written test, as fixed by the Board, shall be called for the Practical Skill Test on Computer.
- The Practical Skill Test on Computer shall also be qualifying. The minimum qualifying mark in the Practical Skill Test on Computer for UR & SEBC candidates is 18, and for SC & ST candidates is 15.
- There will be no relaxation in minimum qualifying marks for candidates belonging to special categories such as ex-servicemen, sportspersons, and PwDs.

Selection Process for Odisha Police Job Vacanice 2024:
Scheme of Examination:
Computer Based Recruitment Examination:
- Allotted Marks-100 (One Hundred Marks), Duration โ 120 Minutes
- The questions in the written examination (Objective Type Multiple Choice Questions) shall comprise of Odia language, English Language, Arithmetic,
General Knowledge, Situational Awareness, Logical Reasoning and Basic Computer Knowledge. The standard of the questions shall be such that a
Students who have passed the High School Certificate Examination (10 Class) will be able to answer. - Each question shall be of 01 mark. There shall be a negative marking of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer in the written examination.
- The medium of written examination shall be in English and Odia, except the questions in Odia language

Physical Measurement Test/Physical Efficiency Test:
- Only shortlisted candidates will be intimated for the Physical Measurement and Physical Efficiency Test.

Driving Test:
- Allotted Marks: 05 marks for Heavy Motor Vehicle and 03 marks for Light Motor Vehicle
- The test shall be conducted only for those candidates who have qualified in Written Examination, Physical Measurement and Physical Efficiency Test and must have claimed in their applications that they are proficient in driving with possession of a valid Light or Heavy Vehicle Driving license for the last six months or more (excluding learning period) from the date of advertisement.
- Only such candidates will be called for the Driving Test.
Medical Examination:
- Medical tests by a Medical Board may be conducted at any stage of the recruitment process as scheduled by the Board. Following shall be the specifications for the Medical Examination.
Document Verification:
- After the Written Test, the Battalion Level Selection Board will conduct the document/certificateย verification for the shortlisted candidates (who will be intimated to appear for document verification) at any stage of the recruitment Test at their discretion.
Mark Distribution:
- Written Test: 100 Marks
- National Cadet Crops Certificate (NCC): 02 Marks
- Driving Test (Optional): 05 Marks
Notes:
- The date, time and venue of the Written Examination will be mentioned in the Admit Cards of the eligible candidates. The Board have decided to hold the Written Examination in Computer Based Recruitment Examination (CBRE) mode.
- Candidates whose applications are found valid will be intimated through their registered mobile number and e-mail to download their admit cards to appear for the written test.
