Project Title: “Synthesis of Intelligent Nanostructured Materials via a Plasma Source based Digital Nanomanufacturing Method and their Characterization”
Junior Research Fellow:
- Candidate with B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical/Production Engineering/Automobile Engineering/ Mechatronics Engineering/Metallurgy Engineering/Industrial Engineering/Electrical Engineering/Electronics and Communication Engineering/Chemical Engineering and other allied disciplines with a minimum of 60% aggregate score (6.5/10 CGPA). Candidate must have qualified GATE examination. (Old GATE score is also considered). (OR)
- M.E./M.Tech. in Manufacturing/Production Engineering/Welding Technology/Machine Design/ Mechatronics/Power Electronics/Control Engineering/Automobile Engineering /Machine Dynamics/ Chemical Engineering and other allied areas with a first division in both graduate and post graduate degrees. Candidate must have qualified GATE examination (Old GATE score is also considered).
Desired Skills:
- Basic exposure to software such as MATLAB, ANSYS, and COMSOL.
- Ability to work in a team, good communication skills, experience in experimental research for fabrication of setup and characterization of the products.
Post Duration: 01 years (approx.) or up to the termination of the project, subject to annual performance review. The candidate is encouraged to apply for M.Tech (Research)/Ph.D. at NITK, Surathkal.
