NIF – National Innovation Foundation is an autonomous body of science and technology, Government of India, it was established in the year 2000 at Ahmedabad.NIF conducts a biennial national competition for grassroots green technologies developed by farmers, artisans, and others. It has transferred 109 technologies to different licensees.

Educational Qualification:
JRF: Post Graduate Degree in Basic Science or Graduate / Post Graduate Degree in Professional Course with NET/GATE.
SRF: The qualification is prescribed for JRF with two years of research experience.
Research Associate – I: Doctoral Degree in Science/ Agriculture or having 3 years of research and development experience after Master’s in Engineering / Technology / Veterinary/ Pharma / Ayurveda with at least one research paper in Science Citation Indexed (SCI) journal.
Research Associate – II: Doctoral Degree in Science/ Agriculture or having 3 years of research and development experience after a Master’s in Engineering / Technology / Veterinary/ Pharma / Ayurveda with at least one research paper in a Science Citation Indexed (SCI) journal.
Research Associate – III: Doctoral Degree in Science/ Agriculture or having 3 years of research and development experience after Master’s in Engineering / Technology / Veterinary/ Pharma / Ayurveda with at least one research paper in Science Citation Indexed (SCI) journal.
Project Associate -I: Masters’s Degree in Basic Science or Graduate / Post Graduate Degree in Professional Course from a recognized University or equivalent.
Project Associate -II: Masters’s Degree in Basic Science or Graduate / Post Graduate Degree in Professional Course from a recognized University or equivalent 2 years of experience in Research Development in Industrial and Academic Institutions or Science and Technology Organizations and Scientific Activities and Services.
Senior Project Associate:
- Masters’s Degree in Basic Science or Graduate / Post Graduate Degree in Professional Course from a recognized University or equivalent Four Years’ experience in Research and Development in Industrial and Academic Institutions or Sciences and Technology Organizations and Scientific Activities or Services. OR
- Doctoral Degree in Science / Engineering / Technology / Veterinary/ Pharma / MD a recognized University or equivalent.
Principal Project Associate:
- Master’s Degree in Basic Science or Graduate / Post Graduate Degree in Professional Course from a recognized University or equivalent. And
- Eight Years’ experience in Research and Development in Industrial and Academic Institutions or Sciences and Technology organizations and Scientific activities and services. OR
- Doctoral Degree in Science / Engineering / Technology / Veterinary/ Pharma / MD a recognized University or equivalent And
- Four Years’ experience in Research and Development in Industrial and Academic Institutions or Sciences and Technology organizations and Scientific activities and services.
Manager – Administration: Post Graduate in Commerce, Finance and Accounts, Human Resource Management, Public administration, and other related subjects with at least three years of experience in handling administration, finance, store, purchase, etc.
Manager – Finance: CA/ICWA/CFA/ Post Graduate in Commerce, Finance and Accounts Public administration and other related subjects with at least three years experience in handling the administration, finance, store, purchase, etc.
Admin Associate: Post Graduate in Human Resource Management / Commerce, Finance and accounts, Public administration, and other related subjects with one year of experience in reputed institutions/companies.
Finance Associate: Post Graduate in Commerce, Finance and Accounts, Human Resource Management, Public Administration, and other related subjects with one years’ experience in reputed institutions/companies.
Age Limit:
- JRF: 31 years
- SRF: 35 years
- Research Associate – I: 40 years
