Detailed Eligibility – National Insurance Career:
Educational Qualifications:
Assistants in Class III Cadre:
- A candidate must possess the minimum qualification of Graduation in any discipline from a recognized University or any equivalent qualification recognized
as such by the Central Government. - Knowledge of Reading, Writing and Speaking of Regional Language of the State / UT against the vacancies for which a candidate wishes to apply, is essential. To ascertain the candidate’s familiarity with the Regional Language of the State / UT, a Regional Language Test will be conducted before final selection. Candidates not found to be proficient in the Regional Language Test would be disqualified.
Age limit (As on 01 October 2024): 21 to 30 years (Candidates born not earlier than 02.10.1994 and not later than 01.10.2003 (both days inclusive))
Age Relaxation of National Insurance Career:
- Scheduled Castes/ Scheduled Tribes: 5 years
Other Backward Classes (OBC, Non-Creamy layer): 3 years - Persons with Benchmark Disabilities: 10 years
- Ex-Serviceman. Disabled Ex-Serviceman: Actual period of service rendered in the defense forces + 3 years, subject to maximum of 45 years
- Widows, Divorced women and women legally separated from their Husbands, who have not remarried: Age concession upto the age of 35 years for General/EWS, 38 years for OBC and 40 years for SC/ST candidates
- Existing Employees of the Company: 5 years

Selection Procedure for National Insurance Recruitment:
- The selection process will be based on online Preliminary & Main examinations.
- Candidates qualifying for the Main examination will be further shortlisted for the Regional Language Test.
- No separate marks will be awarded for the Regional Language Test.
- This test will be only qualifying in nature
- Each candidate will be required to obtain a minimum total score (as decided by the Company) in the Main Examination.
- Final selection would be made based on the performance in the online Main Examination & Regional language Test.
- There will be a penalty for wrong answers marked in both Preliminary & Main online objective examination.
- For each question for which a wrong answer has been given by the candidate, one fourth of the marks assigned to that question will be deducted as penalty to arrive at corrected score.
- No marks will be deducted for un-attempted questions.
Phase-I: Preliminary Examination (Online):
- Preliminary Examination consisting of Objective Tests (Multiple Choice type Questions) for 100 marks will be conducted online. T
- This test would be of 60 minutes duration consisting of 3 sections (20 minutes for each section)

Regional Language Test:
- Candidates shortlisted in the online Main Examination will subsequently be called for Regional Language Test to be conducted by the Company, at select centres.
- The name and address of the Centre, time & date of this test will be informed to the shortlisted candidates on our website.
- Candidates applying for vacancy under State / UT other than their domiciled State / UT, have to appear and qualify the Regional Language Test in the language of State / UT for which they have applied

- For SC/ST/PwBD/EXS Candidates: Rs. 100/-(Intimation Charges only)
- For Other Candidates: Rs. 850/- (Application fee including Intimation Charges)
