Educational Qualification:
Project Title: Development and evaluation of a recombinant BCG vaccine expressing multi-epitope antigens against bovine tuberculosis. PI: Dr. Bappaditya Dey
Senior Research Fellow:
- Post Graduate Degree in Life Sciences (Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Immunology, etc. with 2 years duration and NET/GATE qualification along with 2 years of research experience after Post-graduation in any of following relevant field
Experience: (Candidate with prior experience in any of the following areas will be preferred.)
- BSL3 work experience, in vitro culturing of Mycobacterium tuberculosis.
- Cell culture experience: handling of primary PBMC cells, mouse and human macrophage cells, and in vitro infection of macrophages with M. tuberculosis and other Mycobacterium species.
- ABSL3 work experience in handling mouse and guinea pigs, immunization, blood collection, dissection, organ harvesting etc.
- Immune assays such as ELISA, FACS/MACS, Immunoflurescence Microscopy. LCMS based proteome and transcriptome data analysis
Tenable: One year, likely to extended based on performance and co-terminus with the duration of the project (August, 2025)

- Essential: 10+2 from a recognized Institute/ University with Typewriting English with 35 w.p.m/ Hindi Lower with 30 w.p.m.
- Job Description: To carry out regular work of establishment, finance & accounts and stores & purchase in processing personnel matters, personal claims, payments, service matters, purchase matters, store keeping, vigilance and cash handling. Travel arrangements, coordinating meetings, disciplinary matters, budget, final accounts and rendition of different statutory returns etc. In addition, any other duties assigned by the competent authority.
Probation Period: Appointment will be made initially during the probation period of two years, which may be extended at the discretion of the Competent Authority. Further continuation will depend on the candidate’s performance during the initial probation period.
