Detailed Eligibility – MECON Jobs:
Educational Qualification:
Assistant Manager (Rajbhasha):
- Master’s degree in Hindi with English as a subject at graduation level or
- Master’s degree in English with Hindi as a subject at graduation level from an Indian university recognised by UGC.
Experience:
- Minimum 02 years post qualification executive in line experience in State / Central Government Department (s) / Public Sector Undertaking / Banks / Financial Institutions.
- The candidate should have experience in translation work from English to Hindi and vice versa of various reports, documents letters etc. preferably in State/ Central Government / Public Sector Undertaking / Banks / Financial Institutions, as an employee of that organization.
- The candidate should have knowledge of the Official Language Act 1963 and Official Language Rules, 1976 for implementation of Government officials Language.
Note: The candidates from General, OBC (NCL) and EWS category should have minimum 65%aggregate marks in the requisite educational qualification. For Persons with Disability (PwD) candidates, relaxation of 10% is given in the minimum qualifying marks i.e. 55%. Incase of dual requisite qualification (i.e. Graduation with Master’s), the minimum 65%marks should be in Master’s degree.
Age Limit ( As on 29 January 2024): 30 – 52 years
Age relaxation:
- Persons with Disabilities – 10 Years for
- General (UR) – 5 Years for the candidates who are the domicile of J&K during the period from 01.01.1980
to 31.12.1989 as per Govt. of India guidelines. - Relaxation for Ex-Servicemen category candidates is as per extant Govt. of India guidelines
