Detailed Eligibility for Jharkhand Court Vacancy:
Educational Qualification:
District Judges:
- Graduate in law from a University recognized for enrolment as an Advocate under the Advocates Act, 1961.
- Experience: More than 7 years at the Bar as a practising Advocate after having been duly enrolled as such.
Age Limit (As on 31 January 2023): 35 to 45 years
Age Relaxation: The upper age limit is relaxable by three years in the case of SC/ST candidates.
Salary details: Rs. 1,44,840/- to 1,94,860/- (Level – J – 5)
Jharkhand High Court Vacancy: 15 Posts
Selection Process of Jharkhand Court Vacancy:
- The selection process will be based on a Preliminary test/ Main Examination/ Interview.
- The written examinations/ entire selection process shall be conducted, undertaken and finalized as per Jharkhand Superior Judicial Service
Preliminary Entrance Test:
- The Preliminary Entrance Test shall be of 100 marks in aggregate.
- The duration of the Preliminary Entrance Test shall be two hours.
- There shall be a negative marking of -1 mark (minus one) for each wrong answer.
Main Examination:
- Part – I: 50 Marks
- Part – II: 50 Marks
- The examination shall be held in two sittings of three hours duration for each paper.
Viva-Voce Test:
- There shall be a Viva-Voce Test of 40 marks.
- The marks obtained in the Viva-Voce Test shall be added to the marks obtained in the Main Examination and the merit list shall be prepared accordingly.
- No candidate irrespective of the marks obtained by him in the Main Examination shall be eligible for selection for appointment if he/she obtains less than 30% marks in the Viva-Voce Test.
