Detailed Eligibility – IISER Pune Careers:
Educational Qualifications:
Project Title: Thermochemical evolution of continental lithosphere and its relation to mantle cooling: plate-tectonics and beyond.
Project Assistant:
- MS/M.Sc Degree in Geophysics/Geological Science/Earth Science/Applied Geology/Applied Geophysics with CGPA > =7 or equivalent grade/percentage.
- Preference: Candidates with prior research experience in Geophysics and geodynamics, knowledge of Python programming, bash shell scripting and Linux-Ubuntu will be preferred.
Tenure of Appointments: For 3 months which may be curtailed or extended for further period subject to satisfactory performance of the incumbent and need for services.
Age Limit (As on 15 December 2024): Not more than 32 years
Age Relaxation:
- Age relaxation commensurate with educational ualification/s and/or experience/s of the applicant may be considered for candidates having qualifications and experience higher than the advertised with the prior approval of the competent authority.
Salary: Rs. 19,840/- + 24%
