IIM Jammu Recruitment 2023 notification announced for the post of Non-Faculty Positions in various disciplines. There are 30 vacancies available. Candidates with the qualification of B.E/B.Tech/MBA/MCA/M.Sc/M.Lib.Sc/12th pass is eligible to apply for the job. 1. Teaching Assistants:

  • Master’s degree preferably in Management with minimum 60% marks OR its equivalent grade and consistently good academic record. Proficient in MS Office is a must.
  • Experience: Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience. Research experience in institutes of repute and universities will be preferred.
  • Job Profile: Assisting faculty in activities related to course design and delivery of the Institute’s programs, Correction/grading of exams, quizzes, projects, and assignments as instructed by the teaching faculty, setting up necessary teaching aids as instructed and tracking progress in-class projects and assignments.
  • Contract: 1 year

2. Library Trainees:

  • Master’s Degree in Library and Information Science with minimum 60% marks or its equivalent grade and consistently good academic record.
  • Experience: 0-2 years of relevant work experience. Experience in institute of repute and universities will be preferred.
  • Job Profile: To assist the Librarian in offering library services to the faculty and the students and documentation of library activities.
  • Contract: 11 months only

3.  Management Trainees :

  • Master’s degree preferably in Management with minimum 60% marks OR its equivalent grade and consistently good academic record. Proficient in MS Office is a must.
  • Experience: 0-2 years of relevant work experience. Experience in institute of repute and universities will be preferred.
  • Job Profile: To assist the various Department/ Activity Heads of the Institute.
  • Contract: 11 months only

4.  IT & Systems Trainees:

  • Qualification: B.E./ B. Tech in Computer Science/ Information Technology OR MCA with minimum 60% marks OR its equivalent grade and consistently good academic record.
  • Experience: 0-2 years of relevant work experience. Experience in institute of repute and universities will be preferred.
  • Job Profile:  To assist System Manager in IT-related work/activity of the Institute.
  • Contract: 11 months only

Age Limit:

  • Teaching Assistants: 35 Years.
  • Library Trainees/ Management Trainees/ IT & Systems Trainees: 30 Years.

Salary: Depending upon qualification and experience.

  • Teaching Assistants: Rs. 30,000 – 40,000/- month.
  • Library Trainees/ Management Trainees/ IT & Systems Trainees: Rs. 25,000 – 30,000/- month

Project Engineer cum Estate Officer:

  • B.E/B.Tech in Engineering (Civil) from a recognized University/Institute with 60% and consistently good academic record.
  • Experience Essential: Minimum 15 years of experience in handling of construction of projects post-qualification preferably from Departments, Undertakings, and authorities under the Government of India.
  • Desirable: Knowledge of handling computer applications

Systems Manager:

  • B.E/B.Tech in Computer Science or Electronics / Electrical / Communication Engineering with specialization in Computers or MCA / M. Sc. in Computer Science with at least 60% marks or its equivalent grade and consistently good academic record.
  • Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience post-qualification.

Senior Administrative Officer:

  • Postgraduate degree in any discipline (10+2+3+2) with minimum 55% marks from a reputed University/ Institute or its equivalent grade and consistently good academic record.
  • Desirable: Post-Graduate in Management (PGDM/MBA) with minimum 60% marks. Proficiency in computer operations like Excel, Data Management, MS Windows & MS Office is a must.
  • Experience: Post-qualification experience of at least 10 years in Administration, out of which 5 years independently handling establishment functions (At least level 9 / Equivalent). Experience in institutes of repute like IIMs, IIT, IISER, etc. will be preferred.

Administrative Officer (Security):

  • Post-graduate degree in any discipline (10+2+3+2) with minimum 55% Marks.
  • Desirable: Proficiency in computer operations (MS Windows & MS Office).
  • A certificate course in Security management will be an added advantage.
  • Experience: Minimum 8 years of experience in Armed Forces/ Para Military Forces at a level of Commissioned Officer in the Army/ Navy/ Air Force/ Paramilitary forces.

Chief Innovation Officer (CIO):

  • Post-Graduate degree in any discipline (10+2+3+2) with at least second class (55% marks) from a recognized reputed University or Institute.
  • Desirable: Proficiency in computer operations (MS Windows & MS Office), Internet, and Knowledge/experience of working with Learning Management Systems (LMS) will be an added advantage.
  • Experience: Post-qualification experience of at least 8 years, of which 5 years in independently handling Innovation, Incubation Centers, and Entrepreneurship functions in industry/ Govt./Public Sector undertaking.
  • Experience in institutes of repute like IIMs, IIT, IISER, etc. will be preferred.

Assistant Administrative Officer:

  • Administration:
    • Post-graduate degree in any discipline (10+2+3+2) with at least second class (55% marks) from a recognized reputed University or Institute.
    • Desirable: Post-Graduate in Management (PGDM/MBA), Proficiency in computer operations (MS Windows & MS Office), Internet, Knowledge/experience of working with Learning Management System (LMS) will be an added advantage.
    • Knowledge of Legal Aspects.
    • Experience: Post-qualification experience of at least 7 years in Administration, out of which 4 years handling establishment functions.
    • Worked at least for two years at level 5-6 / Equivalent.
    • Experience in institutes of repute like IIMs, IIT, IISER, etc. will be preferred.
  • Academics:
    • Post-Graduate degree in any discipline (10+2+3+2) with at least second class (55% marks) from a recognized reputed University or Institute.

Junior Engineer (Civil):

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or Equivalent with 60% marks or its equivalent grade and consistently good academic record with 5 years of relevant post-qualification experience.
  • Worked at least 2 yrs. at level 4 / Equivalent.
  • Experience in reputed organizations/Govt. Department/PSU will be preferred.

Junior Engineer (Electrical):

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or Equivalent with 60% marks or its equivalent grade and consistently good academic record.
  • Desirable: Proficiency in Computers with MS Office.
  • Experience: Post Qualification Five Years of Experience.

Office Assistant:

  • Post-graduate degree in any discipline (10+2+3+2) with minimum 55% Marks.
  • Desirable: Post-Graduate Diploma in Management/MBA (10+2+3+2) from a reputed University / Institute is desirable.
  • Proficiency in computer operations (MS Windows & MS Office), Internet, and Knowledge /experience of working with Learning Management Systems (LMS) will be an added advantage.
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years of post-qualification relevant experience.

Sr. Library & Information Assistant:

  • Master’s degree (10+2+3+2) in Library Science with minimum 60% Marks.
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years of post-qualification experience in the library department of a reputed Institute/University.
  • Experience in institutes of repute like IIMs, IIT, IISER, etc. will be preferred.
  • Experience in working on library software systems is essential.

Peon:

  • 12th Pass from State/ Central Board with at least 50% marks.
  • Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in a reputed organization preferably in HEI in office function duties.
  • Experience in institutes of repute like IIMs, IIT, IISER, etc. will be preferred.
