Educational Qualification:

Adjunct Faculty:

  • M. Tech. / M.Sc. / Ph.D. with specialization in Post-Harvest Technology / Food Technology / Food Engineering / Food science / Food science and Technology / Food science and Nutrition or Agricultural Engineering / Biotechnology / Chemical Engineering specialized in Food Process Engineering. The desirable qualification is Ph.D. in the respective disciplines.
  • Experience: A faculty retired from technical institutions or a person of eminence with a Post graduate or PhD qualifications having 10-15 years of experience from Industry.

Research Associate:

  • Ph.D in Food Science/ Food and Nutrition/ Food Technology/ Chemical Engineering/ Food Process Engineering/ Biotechnology/ Nanotechnology. (or)
  • Master’s degree in any of the above disciplines with 4/5 years of Bachelor’s degree having 1st division or 60% marks or equivalent overall grade point average, with at least three years of research experience.

Senior Research Fellow (SRF):

  • M.Tech / M.Sc. / Ph.D degree (4 yrs of UG + 2 yrs of PG) in Food Process Engineering/ Food Technology/ Agricultural Processing/ Food Science/ Food Science and Technology etc.. or
  • M.Sc. degree (3 years of UG + 2 years of PG) in the above disciplines with NET and 2 years of research experience (or) Ph.D. in the above disciplines.

Senior Research Fellow (SRF):

  • M. Tech. in Food Science/ Food and Nutrition/ Food Technology/ Chemical Engineering/ Food Process Engineering/ Biotechnology/ Nanotechnology (or) M.Sc. in any of the above disciplines or Chemistry/ Biochemistry with NET.

Junior Research Fellow (JRF):

  • Ph.D./ M. Tech. in Food Science/ Food and Nutrition/ Food Technology/ Chemical Engineering/ Food Process Engineering/ Biotechnology/ Nanotechnology (or) M.Sc. in any of the above disciplines or Chemistry/ Biochemistry with NET.

Project Assistant (PA):

  • B. Tech in Food Science/ Food and Nutrition/ Food Technology/ Chemical Engineering/ Food Process Engineering/ Biotechnology/ Nanotechnology. (or) M.Sc. in any of these disciplines or Chemistry/ Biochemistry (or)
  • B. Tech/M. Tech in Food Process Engineering/ Food Technology/ Food Science and Technology/ Agricultural Process Engineering/ Biotechnology. (or) Post graduate Diploma in Packaging Technology. (or)
  • Bachelor degree in Food Technology/ Food Science/ Agricultural Entomology/ Biotechnology with knowledge in food handling insects is required for the project.

Food Analyst:
