About IFGTB – Institute of Forest Genetics and Tree Breeding is one of the forest research institutes located in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu. IFGTB is working under the Ministry of Environment, Indian Council of Forestry Research and Education (ICFRE) to study details about the forest and Climate Change.

MTS: 10% standard Pass Certificate

Technical Assistant(Field/Lab): Bachelor’s degree in Science in the following field/Specialization or equivalent from a recognized University. Field /Specialization: BOTANY

Technical Assistant(Maintenance):

Bachelor’s degree in Science in the relevant field/Specialization or equivalent from a recognized University (Or) 3 years diploma in Engineering in the relevant field from a recognized Institution (or) 10+2 with Science from a recognized board +2 years diploma in the relevant field from a recognized University/Institution.
Field /Specialization: Computer Science/ Information Technology

Age Limit ( As on 30 September 2023 ):

MTS: 18 – 27 years
Technical Assistant: 21 – 30 Years

PwBD -UR/EWS: 27 + 10 Years
PwBD -OBC (NCL): 27 + 3 + 10 Years
PwD (SC/ST): 27 + 5 + 10 Years
Defence Personnel disabled in operation during hostilities with any foreign country or in a disturbed area and released as a consequence thereof, 27 + 3 + 10 Years
