Chemistry/Physics:

  • Assistant Professor:
    • A Master‘s degree with 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point-scale wherever the grading system is followed) in a concerned /relevant/ allied subject from an Indian University or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign University.
    • The candidate must have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the UGC or the CSIR, or a similar test accredited by the UGC, like SLET/SET or who are or have been awarded a Ph.D. Degree in accordance with the University Grants Commission (Minimum Standards and Procedure for Award of M.Phil./Ph.D. Degree) Regulations, 2009 or 2016 and their amendments from time to time as the case may be exempted from NET/SLET/SET: OR
    • The Ph.D. degree has been obtained from a foreign University /institution with a ranking among top 500 in the World University Ranking (at any time) by any one of the following: (i) Quacquarelli Symonds (QS) (ii) the Times Higher Education (THE) or (iii) the Academic Ranking of World Universities (ARWU) of the Shanghai Jiao Tong University  (Shanghai).
  • Associate Professor:
    • A good academic record, with a Ph.D. Degree in the concerned /allied/relevant disciplines.
    • A Master ‘s Degree with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point-scale, wherever the grading system is followed).
    • A minimum of 7 publications in the peer-reviewed or UGC listed journals and a total research score of seventy-five (75) as per the criteria given in Appendix II, Table 2 of UGC Notification Dated 18 July,2018
    • Experience: A minimum of 8 years of experience of teaching and / or research in an academic / research position equivalent to that of Assistant Professor in a University/ College/ /Accredited Research Institution /Industry
  • Professor:
    • An eminent scholar having a Ph.D. degree in the concerned/allied/relevant discipline, and published work of high quality, actively engaged in research with evidence of published work with, a minimum of 10 research publications in the peer-reviewed or UGC-listed journals and a total research score of One Hundred Twenty (120) as per the criteria given in Appendix II, Table 2 of UGC Notification Dated 18 July,2018
    • A Master ‘s Degree with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point-scale, wherever the grading system is followed). OR
    • An outstanding professional, having a Ph.D. degree in the relevant/ allied/applied disciplines, from any academic institutions (not included in A above) / industry, who has made significant contribution to the knowledge in the concerned/allied/relevant discipline, supported by documentary evidence, provided he/she has 10 years’ experience at equivalent level.
    • Experience:
      • Minimum of ten years of teaching experience in university / college as Assistant Professor / Associate Professor / Professor, and / or research experience at equivalent level at the University / National level institutions / industries with evidence of having successfully guided doctoral candidate
      • Significant contributions to the knowledge in the concerned/ allied / relevant disciplines to be substantiated with documentary evidence.

Training & Placement:

  • Professor:
    • B. E. / B. Tech. / B. S. and M. E. / M. Tech. / M. S. or Integrated M. Tech. in relevant branch with first class or equivalent in any one of the degrees AND
    • Ph.D. degree in the relevant field AND
    • Minimum of 10 years of experience in teaching/research/industry out of which at least 3 years shall be at a post equivalent to that of an Associate Professor. AND
    • At least 6 research publications at the level of Associate Professor in SCI journals / UGC / AICTE approved list of journals and at least 2 successful Ph.D. guided as Supervisor / Co-supervisor till the date of eligibility OR
    • At least 10 research publications at the level of Associate Professor in SCI journals / UGC / AICTE approved list of journals till the date of promotion eligibility.

Mathematics:

  • Assistant Professor:
    • M.A. / M.Sc. in relevant branch with a minimum of 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in point scale when grading system is followed).
    • NET/ SLET/SET cleared OR 
    • Ph.D. Degree in Accordance with the UGC (Minimum Standards and Procedure for Award of M.Phil/ Ph.D. Degree) Regulations, 2009 or 2016. OR
    • Ph.D. Degree with registration for the Ph.D. programme prior to July 11, 2009
  • Associate Professor:
    • M.A. / M.Sc. in relevant branch with a minimum of 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in point scale when grading system is followed).
    • Good academic record with a Ph.D. Degree in relevant branch.
    • Minimum of seven publications in the peer reviewed / UGC listed Journals and a total research score of seventy five (75)
    • Experience:
      • A Minimum of eight year of experience of teaching and / or research in a academic/ research position equivalent to that of Assistant Professor in a University, College or Accredited Research Institution / Industry.
      • Contribution to educational innovation, design of new curricula and courses, and technology-mediated teaching learning process.
  • Professor:
    • M.A. / M.Sc. in relevant branch with a minimum of 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in point scale when grading system is followed).
    • An eminent scholar with Ph.D. qualification in relevant branch.
    • Published work of high quality, actively engaged in research with evidence of published work with a minimum  of 10 research publications in the peer reviewed / UGC listed Journals and a total of research score of 120 as per the criteria in Appendix II, Table 2 of UGC notification dated 18 July, 2018. OR 
    • An outstanding professional with Ph.D. in relevant / allied / applied disciplines from academics / research institutions / industries.
    • Experience:
      • Minimum of ten years of teaching experience in university / college as Assistant Professor / Associate Professor / Professor, and / or research experience at equivalent level at the University / National level institutions / industries with evidence of having successfully guided doctoral candidate
      • Significant contributions to the knowledge in the concerned/ allied / relevant disciplines to be substantiated with documentary evidence.

Humanity:

  • Assistant Professor(Economics): 
    • M.A. or Master’s Degree in relevant branch with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is applicable) and must have cleared NET conducted by UGC/CSIR or similar test accredited by UGC like SLET/SET. Candidates who have awarded a Ph.D. degree in accordance with UGC Ph.D. Regulations 2009 may be exempted from the requirement of NET/SLET/SET OR
    • Ph.D. Degree with registration for the Ph.D. programme
  • Assistant Professor(Management): 
    • First class Master’s degree in Business Management /Administration or first class in Two year full time PGDM declared equivalent by AIU / Accredited by the AICTE/UGC Or First class Master’s Degree in relevant branch Or First Class Graduate and professionally qualified Charted Accountant/Cost &Works Accountant/Company Secretary of the concerned statutory bodies.
    • Two years of professional experience after acquiring the above mentioned degrees of Master’s degree. OR
    • A Master Degree with 55% marks (or and equivalent grade in a point-scale wherever the grading system I followed) in a concerned/relevant/ allied subject from a Indian University, or an equivalent degree from an accredited university.
  • Associate Professor(Economics):
    • M.A. or Master’s Degree in relevant branch with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is applicable) and Ph.D. in relevant branch.
    • Candidate must have cleared NET conducted by UGC/CSIR or similar test accredited by UGC like SLET/SET.

    • Experience of 05 years as a Medical Officer/SeniorResident/Junior Resident in a Govt. Hospital/dispensary or other reputed
      Hospital.
  • Workshop Superintendent/Assistant Workshop Superintendent: 
    • B. E. / B. Tech. / B. S. and M.E. / M. Tech. / M. S. or Integrated M. Tech. in relevant branch with first class or equivalent in any one of the degrees. And
    • 5 yrs relevant experience (For candidates with B.Tech plus M.Tech plus Ph.D.qualifications, 4 yrs experience is required)
    • Desirable:  Ph.D. Degree in Mechanical Engineering with relevant experience
  • Librarian: 
    • A Masters Degree in Library Science/Information Science/Documentation Science with at least 55% marks or an equivalent grade in a point – cale wherever the grading system is followed.
    • Five years of teaching Library Science or five years experience as a Assistant / Deputy/College Librarian in an institute or university.
    • Evidence of innovative library services, including the integration of ICT in a library.
    • Desirable: A Ph.D. Degree in library science / information science /documentation /archives and manuscript-keeping
  • Computer Programmer:
