HBTU Kanpur Recruitment 2025: Harcourt Butler Technical University (HBTU) Kanpur has announced notification for the Assistant Professor/Medical Officer posts. There are four vacancies available for this job. Candidates with B.E/B. Tech/BS/M.E/M.Tech/MS/MBBS/MD/MCh qualifications are eligible to apply. Assistant Professor:

• B.E/B. Tech/BS and M.E/M.Tech/MS or Integrated M.Tech in relevant branch with first class or equivalent in relevant departmemts
• Department:

Administrative Posts:

Medical Officer:

• Essential: MBBS Degree or equivalent qualification included in any one of the Schedules to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 and must be registered in a State Medical Register or Indian Medical Register.
• Experience: 05 years as a Medical Officer/Senior Resident/Junior Resident in a Govt. Hospital/dispensary or other reputed Hospital.
• Desirable: Post Graduate Qualification, preferably MD in General Medicine, or equivalent qualification (MD/MS/MCh) included in any one of the Schedules to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 and must be registered in a State Medical Register or Indian Medical Register.

Note:

• The candidates with MD/MS/MCh other equivalent qualification shall be treated equivalent as having three years experience.
• Also, the candidates having these PG qualifications and DM shall be treated equivalent to five years experience.)
• Candidates with MD qualifications plus 2 yrs experience as Senior Resident will also be eligible

Selection Process for HBTU Kanpur Careers:

For Assistant Professor – Faculty Post:

• The written test will be of 40 marks.
• The marks obtained by the candidates in the written test (of 40 marks) shall be added to those obtained out of 100
• The consolidated merit (of 140 marks) will be based on the Academic score/API (of 100) and the written test (40 marks).
• This merit will be used to shortlist only.
• The final selection of the candidates to the post of Assistant Professor will be made purely based on performance in Presentation (20 marks) and Interview (10 marks) i.e. out of 30 marks only

• The final selection of the candidates shall be made purely on the basis of performance in job skills and/or Interview (30 marks) only.
