Educational Qualification:

Mines Manager/Assistant Manager:

1st Class Coal Mines Managers Competency Certificate under CMR-1957/2017 preferably having degree/ diploma in Mining Engineering.
Experience: At least 2 years of working experience in an Open cast Coal/Lignite mining project after obtaining 1st Class Certificate.

Mining Sirdar:

Overman or Mining Sirdar Competency Certificate under CMR-1957/2017.
Experience: At least 1 year of working experience in an open cast coal/lignite mining project after obtaining Overman/ Sirdar Competency Certificate.

Electrical Foreman/ Supervisor: Degree / Diploma in Electrical Engineering with Electrical Supervisor (Mines) Certificate from the authorised licensing board of the respective State.

Age Limit(as on 20 November 2023) :

Mines Manager/Assistant Manager/Mining Sirdar:

Not more than 50 years – general and EWS
Not more than 53 years – OBC
Not more than 55 years – SC and ST

Electrical Foreman/ Supervisor:

Not more than 45 years – general and EWS
Not more than 48 years – OBC
Not more than 50 years – SC and ST

Salary:

Mines Manager/Assistant Manager: Rs. 50,000 – 1,00,000/- (Gross Rs. 75,000 to 1,50,000/-)
Mining Sirdar: Rs. 12,000 – 27,000/- (Gross Rs. 20,000 to 40,000/-)
Electrical Foreman/ Supervisor: Rs. 18,000 – 40,000/- (Gross Rs. 30,000 to 60,000/-)

Selection Process:

The selection process will be based on an Online Computer Based Test/Personal Interview.
For the Mines Manager/Assistant Manager post, both CBT and Personal Interview will be for selection, for other posts, only CBT is for the selection process.
The online Computer Test (CBT) will be worth 100 marks.
A Minimum of 40% shall be passing marks for the written examination for all the posts.
