EdCIL invites online applications from eligible candidates for the Chief Consultant, Senior Consultant, and Consultants for the Technical Support group – Malaviya Mission Teacher Training Programme (MMTTP) under the Department of Higher Education, Ministry of Education, Government of India. EdCIL (India) Limited, on behalf of the Ministry of External Affairs, Government of India, invites online applications from Indian TGT and PGT teacher trainers to train the teachers of schools in Sri Lanka for English, Mathematics, Biology, Physics, and Chemistry subjects. The tenure of posting shall be for three months, and the teachers will be posted in Kandy and Matale, Nuwara Eliya, Ratnapura Kegalle and Badulla.

Educational Qualification:

Chief Consultant:

Master’s degree in Education/Social work/Public Policy/M.Des./M.Tech./ MBA or two years PG Diploma in Management with at least 60% from a recognized University
Essential:
- Eight years’ post-qualification experience in the relevant fields of social development sector or education sector, Education, Faculty Development, Training, and Administration.
- Should have good communication skills
- Should be well-versed with ICT skills
Desirable: Experience in the Education and Incubation Sector, organizing training programs, faculty development programs, contract management, and management reporting

Senior Consultant:

Master’s Degree in Social Sciences / Education / Social work /MBA with at least 60% from a recognized university
Essential: 5 years post-qualification experience in Education, social sector, etc.
Desirable: Persons with M.Phil, M.Tech, PhD, additional qualifications, research experience, published papers in the relevant field would be preferred

Consultant – Category – I :

- 03 or more years of post-qualification experience in the service sector managing accounts, invoices and disbursal of funds

Desirable:

Consultant – Category – II:

Detailed Eligibility for EdCIL Teacher Recruitment 2024:

Educational Qualification:

Teacher Trainers:

Proficiency in teaching in Tamil & English is mandatory.
Master’s degree in the relevant field from a recognized university.
Bachelor’s of Education (B. Ed.) Degree from a recognized university (desirable).
Minimum 5 years of full-time relevant teaching experience is mandatory in the subject concerned for 10th (TGT) and 12th (PGT) level.
Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in providing training to teachers covering subject matter/curriculum/pedagogy/ instructional strategies classroom management is desirable.

Subjects to be trained:

Physics
Chemistry

Note:

The trainers will be deployed for the following classes and locations:
- Class Level: 10th- TGT Teachers (O level) & 12th- PGT Teachers (A level) teacher trainers

Salary details of EdCIL Vacancy 2024:

The trainers shall be paid a fixed remuneration of Rs. 1,25,000/- per month from the date of joining. Remuneration shall be paid in Indian currency only
Medical and Travel Insurance will be provided to the trainers in addition to the above monthly remuneration.
Accommodation and local transport for travel to the training centre from accommodation at Sri Lanka will be provided.

Selection Process for EdCIL Teacher Recruitment 2024:
