About CWRDM: The Centre for Water Resources Development and Management (CWRDM) was established as an autonomous research organization by the Government of Kerala, under its Science and Technology Policy in February 1978. Two of the important 
personalities behind the establishment of this institute were Sri. C Achutha Menon, former Chief Minister of Kerala, and Dr. P K Gopalakrishnan, former Secretary to the Government of Kerala, are both of revered memory. The Centre had a steady growth along with its other sister institutes under the umbrella of the State Committee on Science, Technology, and Environment.

Detailed Eligibility:
Educational Qualification:
Project Fellow:
- M.Tech/MSc in Remote Sensing and GIS/ GeoInformatics/ Spatial Information Technology or equivalent.
- 1 Year of working experience in handling microwave remote data, digital image processing software, and GIS Modeling.
- MSc Aquatic Biology & Fisheries/ MSc Fishery Biology & Aquaculture.
- At least 6 months experience in work related to Aquatic biodiversity and Taxonomy/Aquatic health Management collection and identification of plankton/ mangroves/fishes.
Research Assistant:
- PG in Social Science/Agricultural Science/Agricultural Extension/Agricultural Statistics/ Plant Sciences or Allied discipline with specialization in Social science relevant to Agriculture with a minimum of 55%.
- Socio-Economic & farm survey statistical analysis, vulnerable assessment with respect to climate change.
Age Limit ( As on 01 January 2023 ): Up to 36 years, with usual relaxation as per Government Norms.
Salary:
- Project Fellow: Rs 22,800 – 27,800/-
- Research Assistant: Rs 16,000/-
