Educational Qualifications:

Junior Manager Trainee (HR):

  • MBA / Post Graduate Degree or Diploma (2-year full-time course) in HR/Personnel Management or equivalent with 1st class (min. 60% marks) – Full-time course from a recognized University/reputed Institute
  • Graduation in Law (LLB) shall be considered a desirable additional qualification.
  • Should be well versed in verbal and written communication in English & Malayalam

Junior Manager Trainee – Public Relations & Corporate Communication:

  • Post Graduate in Journalism & Communication with 60% marks (Full-time year course with medium of instruction English) from a recognized University  [or]      
  • PG with first class in any discipline from a recognized University with PG Diploma in Journalism / Advertising & Public Relations with  60% marks (Full-time year course with medium of instruction English) from Indian Institute of Mass Communication / similar Institute.   [or]
  • Any professional Degree with 60% marks from a recognized  University with a PG Diploma in Journalism / Advertising & Public Relations with 60% marks (Full-time year course with medium of instruction English) from Indian Institute of Mass Communication / similar Institutes
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English & Malayalam.

Junior Manager Trainee – (CA/ICMA):

  • Candidates with CA/ICMA qualifications

General Manager – Aero (Commercial & Marketing):

  • MBA/Post Graduate Degree or Post Graduate Diploma (2-year full-time course) or equivalent in Marketing  / International Business /Finance with minimum 50% marks from a reputed University/reputed Institute approved by UGC/AICTE
  • A degree/Diploma in Business Law/Mercantile Law or related subjects will be advantageous.
  • Working knowledge of Malayalam will be an added advantage.

Experience:

  • A minimum of 20 years of post-qualification work experience in a managerial cadre in the commercial / marketing field in any service industry, out of which a minimum of 10 years should be in the aviation industry. 
  • The aviation sector experience shall be in the area of business development, airport/airline marketing, commercial revenue management, airport operations, travel retail & hospitality business, market planning & identification of commercial revenue, asset monetisation and property development, key account management/client handling, concession management etc.
  • Relevant experience in the aviation sector should preferably be gained from any airport operator/airline operator.
  • Candidates should possess excellent oral and written communication skills, proven commercial acumen, drafting & negotiation skills and a good understanding of contract management techniques and practices.

Deputy General Manager(Civil):

  • B.E/B.Tech (Civil Engg) with minimum 60% marks – Full-time course from a reputed University/Institute approved by UGC/AICTE
  • Masters Degree/M.Tech/M.E in Civil Engg./Structural Engg/Infrastructure Engg./Building Technology/Construction Management/Transportation Engg. is preferred.
  • Working knowledge of Malayalam will be an added advantage.

Experience:

  • Minimum 17 years of post-qualification experience in managerial cadre in Civil Engineering/Structural Engineering/Project Engineering in a reputed and well-established organization, out of which atleast 8 years experience in Project Planning and execution of Civil Engg. 
  • Projects, Maintenance activities and should have handled infrastructure projects worth a minimum cost of Rs.500 crores.
  • Should have good administrative, liaisoning, and resource management skills and a thorough knowledge of modern construction practices and project management techniques.
  • Candidates with proven project execution skills in the airport sector are preferred

Senior Manager (Civil):



  • B.Tech/B.E (Civil Engg) with minimum 60% marks – Full-time course from a reputed University/Institute approved by UGC/AICTE
  • Masters Degree/M.Tech/M.E in Civil Engg./ Structural Engg/Infrastructure Engg./Building Technology/Construction Management/Transportation Engg. is preferred.
  • Working knowledge of Malayalam will be an added advantage.

Experience:

  • Applicant should have at least 12 years post qualification work experience in managerial cadre in Civil Engineering/Structural Engineering/Project engineering in reputed and well-established organizations. 
  • Proven experience in project planning and execution of Civil engineering projects and Maintenance activities and should have handled infrastructure projects worth a minimum cost of Rs.500 crores.
  • Candidates with proven project execution skills in the airport sector are preferred.

Senior Manager (HR):

  • MBA/Post Graduate Degree or Diploma (2-year course) in Personnel Management / HR or equivalent with 1st class (min. 60% marks) – Full-time course from a recognized University/reputed Institute.
  • Graduation in Law (LLB) shall be considered a desirable additional qualification.
  • Should be well versed in verbal and written communication in English & Malayalam

Experience:



  • Minimum 12 years of post-qualification experience in managerial cadre in the field of Human Resource Management & Development in reputed and well-established organizations having an employee strength of atleast 250 and a turnover of 300 crores.
  • Should be conversant with various HR & Administrative functions like Formulation of HR policies and procedures, Salary & Wage administration, Training & Development, Labour statutes, Industrial Relations etc

Senior Manager (Secretarial):

  • Member of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI)
  • Graduation in Law (LLB) shall be considered a desirable additional qualification.
  • Should be well versed in verbal and written communication in English & Malayalam

Experience:

  • Minimum 12 years of post-qualification experience in managerial cadre in the field of Company Secretary in reputed and well-established Companies, having paid up capital of at least 50 crores and a turnover of 300 crores.

Age Limit (As on 27 March 2024): 

  • For General Manager – Aero (Commercial & Marketing): Not exceed 50 years 
  • For Deputy General Manager(Civil) : Not exceed 47 years 
  • For Senior Manager (Civil/HR/Secretarial): Not exceeding 42 years 
  • For Junior Manager Trainee (HR/PR&CC/CA/ICMA): Not exceeding 28 years

Age Relaxation:

  • General Manager/Deputy General Manager/Senior ManagerInternal candidates possessing the prescribed educational qualification shall be given a relaxation of up to two years in age limit and total managerial experience in the relevant field.
  • Junior Manager Trainee – Evictee candidates whose land/house was acquired for the Cochin International Airport project & Internal candidates possessing the prescribed educational qualification shall be given relaxation in age limit, percentage of marks etc., as per approved guidelines of the Company.

  • Deputy General Manager(Civil) : Rs. 1,00,000/- to 2,60,000/-

Selection Process for CIAL Careers 2024:
