About BHU: Banaras Hindu University, formerly Central Hindu College, is a public central university located in Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh. It was established jointly in 1916 by the Maharaja of Darbhanga Rameshwar Singh, Madan Mohan Malaviya, Sunder Lal, and British Theosophist and Home Rule League founder Annie Besant. Educational Qualification:
Project Title: Mediated Interventions and Entrepreneurship Development among Rural Communities in Varanasi District of Uttar Pradesh
Junior Research Fellow (JRF):
- Masters in Agricultural Extension & Communication or equivalent degree having minimum of 55% marks. All things being equal, SC/ST candidates will be preferred as per GOI rules.
- Candidate must have qualified NET/GATE or equivalent examinations
Desired Qualification:
- Knowledge on Data Handling, Net Working, ICT Led Extension, Survey, Rural Work and Reporting
- Working experience in Field of Agriculture. Participatory Study, Rural Development, interest to travel & work in rural areas of Varanasi.
- Preference will be given to candidates with publication in SCl/Scopus journals
Upper Age Limit:ย 28 years
Age Relaxation of BHU Job:ย Relaxable for 5 years for Female /SC/ST/PH & 3 years for OBC candidates.
Salary details of BHU Vacancy:ย Rs. 31,000/-pm+ HRA (As per rules).
