APSSC Recruitment 2020 – Arunachal Pradesh Staff Selection Board invites online job applications for the post of Forester, Head Constable, Fireman, Constable, Forest Guard, Mineral Guard, Driver, Constable Driver in the various department with 944 vacancies. Candidates who passed their 10th/12th examination are eligible to apply for this job. The selection process is based on the Physical Standard Test (PST), Physical Efficiency Test (PET) and Trade Test. Educational Qualification:

Forester:

10+2 Standard or equivalent with Science from a recognized institute.

Head Constable (RT):

Class 12th passed for NON-APST or equivalent with (Subject) Physics, Chemistry and Maths
Class 10th Passed for APST with (Subject) Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.

Head Constable (Telecom):

Class -X Passed or equivalent with (Subject) English, mathematics and General Science.

Constable IRBn (Band/Bugler):

Class X pass (for General /APST) and Knowledge in playing Band/Bugle

Fireman/Constable (GD)/Forest Guard/Mineral Guard:

Class X pass or equivalent qualification from a recognized board/institute

Head Constable Driver/Constable (Driver):

Class X pass or equivalent qualification from a recognized board/institute
Possession of valid Heavy Motor vehicle driving license/driving license for Light Motor Vehicle.

APSSC Recruitment Selection Process:

For Constable IRBn/ H/C Driver/ Constable Driver:

Selection will be based on three stages, they are Stage-I Physical Standard Test (PST), Physical Efficiency Test, Stage-II Trade Test and Stage-III examination

For All Other posts:

Selection will be based on two stages, they are Stage-I Physical Standard Test (PST), Physical Efficiency Test, Stage-II examination

Scheme of Examination:

Stage-I Physical Standard Test (PST), Physical Efficiency Test (PET) and Trade Test:

PST and (PET shall be carried out at the designated recruitment centre which will be intimated through call letter and APSSB website. List of accepted/rejected candidates and date & time for
PST/PET will be uploaded in APSSB website at www.apssb.in
PET and PST will be of qualifying nature only.
Candidates will have to qualify in the PST and PET to be able to appear for subsequent stages.

Stage-II Trade Test:

The applicants for the post of Constable (Band/Bugler) IRBn (Male), H/C Driver and Constable Driver (Civil Police) who qualify the PST/PET will have to undergo a Trade Test, carrying 100 Marks.

Stage —III ( Objective Type Multiple Choice Questions):

For Forester/ Head Constable (RT)/ Head Constable (Telecom)/ Fireman/ Constable (GD):

3 Hours Duration:

General English – 100 marks
Elementary Math – 100 marks
General Knowledge – 100 marks

For Constable IRBn:

2 Hours Duration:

General English – 100 marks
General Knowledge – 100 marks

For H/C Driver and Constable Driver (Civil Police):

2 Hours Duration:

General English/General Knowledge – 100 marks
Theoretical Paper – 100 marks

Marking Scheme:

Each question shall carry 02(two) marks. There will be a negative marking of 1/4 for an incorrect answer

Qualification Marks:

A candidate must secure a minimum of 33% or more marks in each subject in the written examination paper and must secure 45% of marks out of aggregate total marks in the written examination paper.
In other words selection in third stage will be based on the aggregate total marks secured in the written examination paper. The candidate securing less than 33% of marks in any of the subject shall be deemed not eligible.
